The rooms were poorly maintained, with broken fixtures and a lack of basic upkeep, making the stay uncomfortable from the start. The bar offered no proper menu, just a flimsy printout that seemed to change frequently, leaving guests uncertain about what was available. Room service felt exploitative, charging 430 for a beer worth 200. When we asked for the bar menu, they hesitated to provide it and only shared it after repeated requests. Even the reception was unhelpful and dismissive in addressing this concern. The staff's behavior was appalling, especially toward women. They lacked basic courtesy and seemed clueless about how to interact with guests respectfully. To add to the frustration, room service insisted that bills had to be cleared immediately after ordering and couldn't be settled during checkout. However, at checkout, we were able to clear the remaining bill without any issue, contradicting their earlier claims. If you're okay with sacrificing comfort, respect, and transparency, this hotel might work for you. Otherwise, stay far away for the sake of your peace of mind.

Amazing Ambience in this Hotel. The location is superb, as you can see Salt Lake Stadium across the street, the transportation is good, and it is located in a very busy street, so you'll always feel secure in this area. There's a Metro station which is few minutes walk, and many more places to explore. The Hotel has very nice rooms, with good facilities provided. And I appreciate the Staff at Reception, because I went there without advance booking, and despite that they were kind enough to help me get one room, because all the rooms were sold out online. Amazing Hotel, I highly recommend this place.

worst service i have ever had. You can't even get water to drink. Room is also dirty. I discussed with hotel staff to get water. if i order water they asked me to order in reception. Its hard to get drinking water with money also. Food is just ok Water leakege in washroom. Toilet flush is also not working

Worst Experience at Hotel Pearl, Kolkata I recently stayed at the Pearl Hotel in Kolkata, and it was a terrible experience. This was my second visit to this property; my first visit a year ago was satisfactory, but this time it was a disaster, especially concerning the food. I booked a five-day stay with breakfast and dinner included in the package. To my dismay, every day they served only one type of dal--either dal tadka, dal fry, or plain dal. When I questioned the repetitive menu, I was told it was a management decision. They claimed that due to a heat wave, they couldn't cook other types of dal because they would spoil. Despite my request for the dal to be less spicy or sweet, there was no change. I also requested a large bowl of raita, which they provided for the first four days. However, on the fifth day, they suddenly denied my request, stating that only small bowls were allowed due to management policy. Additionally, for the first four days, they served ice cream as a sweet dish, but on the fifth day, they refused, claiming I couldn't have both raita and dessert. The final straw was when I asked for tawa roti after having two tandoori rotis. They outright refused, insisting I could only have tandoori rotis. This was incredibly frustrating, and I stopped eating the meal. When I tried to address my concerns with the staff, they were completely indifferent. I filed a complaint with the Goibibo team. Initially, the hotel staff didn't respond to Goibibo's calls, and when I handed my phone to the receptionist, they had a long discussion but ultimately I didn't get any refund. Overall, my stay at Hotel Pearl was extremely disappointing. The management's inflexibility, poor food variety, and unresponsive service have ensured that I will never return to this property. I strongly advise others to avoid staying here.

Located near salt lake stadium gate No 1. One of the best location and you will think by its look that it is a good hotel. But believe me, it was one of my worst stays in any hotel recently, 1. The reception and restaurant was very beautiful. But the room that we were given had broken floors, unclean bathroom. Pics attached. 2. The room service was third class. Inspite of repeated requested of an extra towel at around 1 PM, we received it at 8 PM. 3. Requested for drinking water several times at night starting at 8 PM. Every time I requested them they said it would cost us money. We were fine with that. J finally received the water at 10 AM in the morning. We paid 2200 for a room for one night which is reasonably a good amount for a hotel room. But believe me it was one of my worst experience.

We had a special celebration in memory of our late Brother-in-law. His untimely demise was transformed into a celebration of his life. Thanks to the management and staff of Pearle Hotel. I suggest everyone with an intent to host any event of 75 to 100 guests should consider this hotel. They are the best in hospitality from my experience. I travel the world over and have been the recipient of many hospitality services. They rank at the very top. Their exemplary staff demonstrated uncompromising services.

The room was good but not very huge. Just enough space to accommodate a couple. Bathroom was small but clean and well maintained. The location of the hotel is nice and one can easily reach there without hassle. Restaurant is at the ground floor so you don't need to go far for your fooding needs. Our Overall experience was nice. I'll definitely return back there if I am back again in the city

It's the WORST. Nothing as shown in picture. The rooms are so small smelly and dirty. I had paid already so I had to stay, i moved immediately to another! This hotel is the worst. I very uncomfortable and UNHYGIENIC. The toilet bathroom is so dirty. DO NOT BOOK THIS
