The Moira - Bed and Breakfast

Honest Review, stayed here for 3N. The rooms are big and spacious. You'll get all the necessary stuff in rooms. My 1st day was in normal king room with balcony and I would say it was the best in this price. The washrooms are bigger than many hotel rooms. My next 2N were in central rooms and it had extra bed for your personal time. It had lots and lots of books and probably all the games like UNO, Monopoly, Jenga, Sequence, Ludo, Chess and what not. The hall and dining area is so amazing and well maintained. The duplex house with so amazing rooms and service. I would love to visit again and recommend everyone to stay!

Lovely bed and breakfast with warm and welcoming interior design. The staff/family were all very accommodating and friendly towards us. The whole venue was extremely clean which was a major relief us. There did seem to be some mould forming around the ceiling in our room, but otherwise a really great place that I would definitely recommend. Great location too, near to Park St. Breakfast was included and is made to order. There are good indian options and/or eggs, cereal etc.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Everything exceeded our expectations. The staff were friendly, the rooms were comfortable, and the amenities were excellent. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city.

We enjoyed a clean and comfortable stay at the Moira, Mehul and family were very kind and considerate hosts and happily accepted our late arrival time change due to delayed flight. Breakfast was very good and plentiful.

We were very impressed with our stay here. The room was very comfortable and spacious. The bed was a fine size and very comfortable. The fan and the A.C. were well used by us because of the heatwave which we and all of Kolkata as well as Delhi had to endure. We were well provided with safe drinking water which was essential to have during this time. |Food was South Indian style in the main which was an adventure for us and maybe a bit challenging but at all times we could ask for the typical mundane western style breakfast. We had a particularly nice experience when my husband was presented with a birthday cake for breakfast! (We had mentioned in passing to some of the guests the day before.) It was particularly nice to sit down at breakfast with the family and other guests and interact and exchange stories with them. |TV was a bit challenging to manage but we didn't spend much time watching anyway.

Amazing room! Very clean, comfortable and homely. I stayed at this property for over 1 mth (October to November 2023) during the Puja's. Mehul and his family are warm and friendly and go out of their way to make sure all your needs are met. The property is located in a quieter area of Kolkata but close to everything! Features: Massive comfortable king size bed; big screen TV; modern & very clean bathroom; great breakfast; 24 hour access in security building. I can highly recommend staying here, you won't be disappointed.

The Moira is located in a beautful house with good rooms, clean and spacious. Also the breakfast is good.

Our family of four stayed in adjoining rooms at the Moira Bed and Breakfast for three nights in the first week of March. The house is beautifully furnished and extremely safe. The rooms are spacious and well appointed with all the amenities you would find in a hotel. Housekeeping staff is excellent and the breakfast was simple, freshly made and adequate. The location is quiet and convenient just a five minute walk to bustling Park Street and cabs are plentifully available. Although we did not meet Mr Mehul, he was always in touch with us to ensure that we had a comfortable and fantastic stay. Great place to stay for families.
