The Lake Hotel

Pathetic experience !! worst staff behaviour ! The staff at the reception was very rude and was so not adjustable. They called us even before the exact check out time and they asked us to leave even tho we wanted to stay longer and was ready to pay extra. The receptionist asked me to get down and pay, they couldn't wait until checkout for our payment for extra hours.

Poor behaviour from stuff. The pdf said that we get 20% discount on food at vayu but after finishing the food they told us there is no discount at the restaurant of any kind its only for room service. But where is that mentioned?? People at the reception also said in time of checking that we get discount but after confronting them at night they completely fliped their word and start behaving inappropriately which is not acceptable.

Very rude staff and bad service. Even ordering a tea in the room is a big hassle for the staff who make all the excuses not to send it. Asking for water makes them very uncomfortable. No ventilation in the room. The floor was too dirty that made our feet black while walking barefeet. Please don't believe the positive reviews. They are fake accounts for sure. Please do not stay in this hotel

So many bad reviews till how are they going on God knows.. They do not give parking space they scam people by calling parking valet from outside and then they charge a lumpsum amount for parking and the helpdesk people and the valet gets on you and creates nuisance not caring there are woman around. I was about to call the Police over this nuisance then they discounted us the parking amount. Horrible condition.. We know that hospitality means someone who behaves properly but here the helpdesk people are ill mannered and stupid. Avoid this hotel as much as possible I am definitely not coming back here. Hotel with such scams and such employees should definitely not run.

Wondering how did they manage to get such good reviews, perhaps fake ones. Very poor maintenance over and above small rooms without proper ventilation at rooms and toilets. The room walls has spots all over and musty smell, especially the wooden fixtures had mould spots. The bathroom exhaust was not working and it was smelly. I checked in at midnight due to late flight and had no option but to stay that night, I literally didn't stay next day although I had paid for it. Makemytrip charged me 3.5k per room which is not even close to its worth. Worst experience. Please avoid, or book for a night if you don't trust this review. Location is good but doesn't matter in the era of online cabs.

Charged 4k for blood stain which was over their white comforter from my partner's periods while sleeping at night. It hardly costs 1.5k-2k. Rude arrogant staff. Dont recommend this to anyone.

Great behavior, good room, but not too big. Still good for spending 1-2 days. Couple friendly.

It's like any other decent hotel , but some features I'd like to point out. Pro's - well behaved stuff, Decent hotel at an affordable price , Located in dhakuria,so there are so many places to go nearby Vaayu- it has a really really good bar restaurant at the top floor ( don't get fooled, vaayu isn't open for 24 hours) I've gone to this hotel several times, also some of my friends did too separately, We chose it again and again. Cons - normal rooms are a bit small . Entrance could be better
