-Star Review: A Memorable Stay at The Kolkata Hotel I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Kolkata Hotel, and I must say--it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome with their warm smiles and attentive service. The room was spotless, spacious, and elegantly decorated, with a beautiful view of the city skyline. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and all amenities--from high-speed Wi-Fi to the coffee/tea setup--were thoughtfully provided. What really stood out was the dining experience. The in-house restaurant served a delightful local Bengali cuisine. The location is another big plus. Centrally located, it's close to major attractions, shopping areas, and public transport, making it easy to explore the city. Special thanks to the front desk team and housekeeping staff for their exceptional hospitality. They were always ready to help with a smile and went the extra mile to ensure a comfortable stay. Overall, The Kolkata Hotel offers the perfect mix of luxury, convenience, and heartfelt hospitality. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kolkata--whether for business or leisure.

Hotel is really good, clean and staff is very supportive.I looked over all the hotels for more than 3 hours and eventually I chose it, and it is my best experience ever! If you the kind of person who wants to live in a modern place but doesn't like the decoration to be too luxurious, this is the right place. I feel very comfortable with the decoration and arrangement in the room. The best part of this hotel is reasonable price for rent charges.

Date of Stay: 28/12/24 (11:30 p.m) Room Number: 19 As a regular and loyal customer, I have always chosen Kolkata Guest House over others. However, my recent experience was very disappointing. 1. Unjustified Charges: We checked in at night around 11:30 p.m., and despite it being the standard time for night check-in, we were charged extra. Additionally, when we checked out at around 1-2 p.m., they added 500 for the extra time. On top of that, they charged 40 for just two water bottles. 2. Room Issues: The hand shower in Room 19 was not working, which caused inconvenience during our stay. 3. Lack of Customer Value: As a loyal customer who has recommended this hotel to many people, I expected better treatment. Despite being a regular guest, the staff showed no appreciation or effort to maintain a good relationship. It's disappointing that in December, when customer satisfaction should be a priority, the hotel seems more focused on overcharging. I have left my contact details in the check-in notebook. If Kolkata Guest House values its loyal customers, I expect them to reach out and address these issues.

This is the second time they have changed their quoted price on the booked date. They will quote a price before check in and on the day of check in when the plan is set they will increase the price. Worst management ever.

Before judging anyone plzz visit1 time... As a loyal person I just want to say they are the best hotel service provider near acropolis...now a days their staffs are like my friend and brother......
