The Aster Homestay - Bedrooms & Apartments

We stayed here for a week for our Visa appointment, the staff was extremely helpful and sweet. Should definitely mention Tarak da and Saif, for always being available. Divya went above and beyond from giving me recommendations, to giving me chocolates when she realised it was my birthday. It was a really sweet

The property is at a prime location and easily accessible. Found that the cleanliness could be better as well all appliances, kitchen cutlery etc need to be cleaned. The kitchen cupboards etc are full of junk stuff and dirty inside. AC vents require general cleaning and maintenance. However, the dealing of the host was great and the boy on location was helpful. It worked well for us. Can be considered for short stays in the city.

We (me and my wife) stayed at 'The Aster Homestay- Bedrooms & Apartments' during 8th December 2024 to 14th February 2025. The reason for our long stay was to attend few families get together and spending the winter days at Kolkata (Our present residence is at NOIDA, Uttarpradesh). In between my son, daughter in law and grandson came to Kolkata from Delhi and stayed with us for 3 days. The homestay is on the 2nd floor of a four storied building and has got two separate apartments (two-bedroom and three-bedroom) During this long stay, we stayed both in the Two-bedroom apartment and the Three-bedroom apartment (and it was as per our choice). Both the apartments are on the same floor. The two bed-room flat facing North-west and the other one facing South-east (facing the main road and entry to the building). The building has a nice caretaker, who was always responsive with smiling face. Both the flats furnished, and I could find a good library (I am fond of books). Now coming back to my feedback 1)The location of the homestay is excellent - 2 minutes' walk to Metro station 'Jatind das park' on the blue line of Kolkata. The homestay is also near to the junction of two main streets of Kolkata namely 'Hazra Road' and 'Shyamaprasad Mukherjee road'. The communication thus in and around Kolkata from this location is very good. 2)The homestay is managed by a caretaker who cleans the flat regularly. The rooms are clean. 3)Diviya, the owner is very good and well behaved. During our stay, she responded quickly to any need. 3)Kitchen facilities, common area seating arrangement, washing machine etc. are in very good condition. 4)Security of the house is well maintained. 5)The money is worth paying. 6)However, the door in the washroom of room number 2, and door of room number 5 need to be attended by the plumber. 7) It would be helpful if a washing machine is provided in the two-bedroom flat. 8) Overall staying experience was nice and pleasant. The stay was very comfortable and room was pretty good. The behaviour of the gateman was also very good..From check in to check out it was a very hassle free process...Wll love to visit in future.

I found the place quite cozy and homely. They had all the basic amenities one can ask for. There was an accommodating caretaker who kept the place tidy and clean. I liked the location of the Homestay as well. The connectivity is good in terms of public transportation (I mean it did work for me). Jatin Das metro station is just 2-3 mins walk away. You can also find a bunch of eateries here and there if you are willing to walk a bit and take a look around. I would recommend the place, be it for a vacation or work related stay.

Ample to stay for visits with Family & Friends. Plush cushioned beds & sofas & the homely vibe is its MSP

Stayed here for a couple of days for Medical Purpose. Rooms are cozy, living room is spacious. They have a functional kitchen with refrigerator. Check in is hassle free, security guard is available 24*7. Caretaker is available round the clock. Last bit not the least, The Host MS Divya is such a wonderful person. She takes care of everything and responds to every call even in the late hours of night. Recommended stay with affordable cost.

It was a great stay. We booked the property for 10 days and everyday seems like we checked checked in. Everyday the room was cleaned and bed sheets were changed. The house help was also very good. Really like to visit again and recommend to my friends.
