Tahoura Hotel and Banquet

I recently stayed at this hotel and was pleasantly surprised. The room atmosphere was comfortable and inviting, and its location near Park Street made it very convenient. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring a smooth stay. Highly recommended!

If your staff are not capable of providing the rooms then please don't give their number in online portal.. Today I have quarry for 1011/2024 late night check in & check out date 13/11/2024. I repeatedly called and send WhatsApp msg also by 11 AM . but right now I didn't get any response from your end.. MD.ZAHID didn't responded in my call & even didn't respond in my WhatsApp msg also. This is ridiculous.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. PLEASE BEWARE !!! We booked the banquet for 200 guests for our wedding reception. At the end of event, around 12 AM when we (me and wife) sat to have our dinner, they made false claim that we had 30 extra guests but as per our count we had 192 guests only. When we asked for video footage of the guests, they provided us with a 10 seconds video of a guy carrying 5-7 plates, as proof. The hotel owner cornered us as we were alone. They threatened us that they will not let us leave the hotel, behaved rudely and very unprofessionally and harassed us for quite some time. It was like a hostage situation and very traumatic experience. We finally had to pay 30,000/- extra, just so that we can leave the venue. To be simply put, they took advantage of us as we were alone and it was a planned extortion. I would highly advise NOT to go anywhere near this place. Gave 1 star because food & decor was good.

Had a very horrible experience here. We booked here for a short stay for refreshment. They gave us an unmaintained room. We paid almost 1.5k for just 5hrs. The tiles in the room were broken, I was scared to step on it because it was shaking up and down, no bucket was there in the bathroom, AC won't work properly. It gets ON automatically and gets OFF by itself. If we ask the reception people for any assistance of these issues, they will simply come and ask for tips alone. Should not visit this place by any chance

Liked it. Room was good, clean, spacious. Staffs were good. Service was upto mark. Breakfast was okay too.

They charge for drinking water 40Rs per litre in room. I don't know about other hotels in Kolkata or nearby but never paid for drinking water in any other hotel before this. Rooms are neat and clean. It is 3 star hotel so check for the price before booking, don't book for a price in which you can book 4 and 5 star hotels. Read each point to understand why I've used above statement. 1. They provide Soap, Body wash, shampoo, saving kit, dental kit, comb and 1 litre of bottle complimentary. 2. They do not provide slippers, shoe shiner, shower cap, iron, ironing board, bath rub, bathing gown etc. 3. There is electric kettle in room with teabag, sugar and milkpowder. 4. Their breakfast buffet is just to showoff. Their is only 3 to 4 choices available. And you can't ask for anything else kept in buffet except omelet. On the name of fruit juice they serve Maza in the buffet. Buffet area is banquet hall and not the restaurant. 5. Location is good and taxi/auto and other convenience available just from the hotel. 6. Staff is very well behaved and they are the life line of this hotel. I've booked for five nights. I've booked a deluxe room for 2 people in approx 2900 per night + taxes with Agoda.

This was actually a combination of errors from hotel staff and oyo....i was new in the city and went at the venue via oyo bookings....on arrival the hotel staff refused my check in and told some tariff issues.....I strongly recommend to confirm on call else you will be the next victim.
