Super OYO Townhouse 143 Hotel Royal Garden Park Street Mullick Bazar Crossing

Extremely bad condition of rooms. The oyo app description says "rated high for cleanliness" but it's quite the opposite. The room was not cleaned and was filled with dust. All the amenities provided are barely functional. The charging socket near the bed doesn't work, the bucket for bathing is dirty. The toilet is not cleaned either.

I stayed for a couple of days and I literally had the worst hotel experience of my life. Let me in detail give you the reasons. 1. There was no toiletries in washroom (no towels, no soap, shampoo, room freshner like odonil), no proper hooks to hang towels, no proper lock and most importantly the mug and bucket was dirty as if there wee second hand. It's completely inhuman. 2. Bed is too small to accomodate two people 3. Bed is attached to the wall of the room and wall is rough and scratched throughout because of which while sleeping at night you get hurt on your knees and hands which is a traumatic experience in itself. 4. There is no proper service of food and beverages. You have to pay separately everytime you order anything at room whether it's a simple water bottle of Rs 20. You will hesitate to call twice. 5. Nobody picks up the calls even though they tell you two times while checking in to call for anything you need. 6. Television has absolutely no channels except a few sports. There is no use of providing television. They did it for marketing. 7. The hallway stays literated with used dishes for hours. The dishes were cleared almost 24 hours after I stayed at the hotel. (Photo is attached for your reference) 8. The entire hotel smells of cigarettes there is no proper ventilation or pleasant smell either at the reception or the hallway of the rooms 9. The tea is unacceptable. Worst tea we have ever had. 10. They gave me warm water in plastic bottle. And they charge for warm water. There is no kettle in the room. This becomes an important factor when you are travelling. I was having cold and warm water would have helped. 11. There are no proper amenities in the room. If possible, book something for 1000/- premium but chose a hotel which provide basic amenities. Please don't go on OYO Townhouse standards. OYO absolutely doesn't consider room standards while designated something as Townhouse. It's a joke you are charged 1800/- for this type of shitty experience. I have given 3 star for location because the location provided you access to major locations in least time. But everything else was pathetic.

1500 for a room infested with bugs dirty linens and dirty washroom, your worst nightmare it's not even habitable and i told them i wouldnt stay here and i wanted my refund they refused straight forward. Extremely bad how does oyo inspection teams and govt inspection teams miss out on these or they just bribe them done passed. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL

The staff is horrible especially the reception people they don't know shit about hospitality. The way they would stalk you to get more money. The way they get on your nerves. The rooms have cockroaches and if you complain they'll say yeah we know but won't act on it.

I booked that hotel from OYO, and already paid advance money which is non refundable and didn't get any help from OYO Support. But this hotel twist their rules as their business trick. The rule is, they can't provide room on the basis of local id proof (Adhar Card) from OYO bookings. It means if you stay in Kolkata and your adhar card is from Kolkata, you can't avail room from that hotel as per their rules. And the behaviour of the front desk recipient lady, was very rude.

Avoid This OYO Property - Poor Service & Misleading Practices My friends had an extremely frustrating experience at this OYO Townhouse and would strongly advise others to think twice before booking. The room was in appalling condition -- dirty, unhygienic bedding, missing basic amenities like towels and toiletries, and a complete mismatch from what was advertised on the OYO app. When my friends immediately raised concerns with the hotel staff, they dismissed our complaints and casually admitted that most rooms were in a similar condition--a shocking response from a hospitality provider. With no attempt to resolve the issue or offer a better room, we had no option but to cancel the booking and find alternative accommodation at additional expense. Despite reaching out to OYO's customer service multiple times, we faced long delays, inconsistent responses, and a lack of accountability. After weeks of follow-ups, OYO finally agreed to refund only one night, completely ignoring the fact that we had no choice but to leave due to their poor service and unlivable conditions. This partial refund is not nearly enough to compensate for the distress, inconvenience, and financial burden we endured. If you're looking for professional service, customer care, or a hassle-free stay--OYO is not the brand to trust. They promise affordable convenience but fail to deliver even basic hospitality.

The rooms were disappointing and poorly maintained--damp, dirty, and even malodorous. The service was subpar, with staff demonstrating a lack of courtesy and communication skills, and guests were not even permitted to sit in the reception area. Additionally, the photos on the website were misleading, as the hotel and its rooms did not match the advertised appearance. To make matters worse, if you attempt to take a photo, the staff immediately shout at you.

The worst hotel ever I have booked a hotel. Room service is not properly done. Bad smell in the room. Tv is not working. Bed sheet and winter quilt is very poor condition. Water heater is not working. Pillow is thinner and I requested manager to give extra Pillow but he denied. No drinking water supplies. Tv unit is not working. In the wardrobe no hanger is not available. Suggested everyone not booked the hotel. Hotel charges is very high . Hotel charges me Rs 1734. But the condition of the hotel is very bad.
