Super OYO Flagship Apan Guest House Near Acropolis Mall

I had booked one classic room through OYO at *Super OYO Flagship Apan Guest House in Kolkata* for 3 nights from 21/03/24. After expiry of of free cancellation period, the property owner called me and requested to cancel the booking saying that OYO doesn't gives money to them. He also told me either to book the same property directly from him or I have to pay extra money to them during stay. I have told him that, free cancellation not possible at that time and if cancelled my payment will be forfeited. Then, he said that, you come with the same booking but requested to pay some extra money (as I wish) to them during stay. I have no option to cancel the booking as I had doctor's appointment on 22 & 23rd March. I checked in the property on 21/03/24 evening and then the owner called me and asked to pay extra Rs.1000.00. After lots of arguments, they handed over the key of room and said that I have to pay at the time of check out. As per booking, the room should have AC, TV and Geyser facilities. All are available but not worked for 3 nights stay. We have to take hot water from other room. The elevator was kept always in switch -off condition and each time we have to use the same I had to call them by phone. At the time of checking out, I have to pay Rs.500.00 extra. Overall, being a patient,I have a worst experience with OYO and will think to choose OYO for next time.

The only problem i ended up facing here was they were extremely noisy at night. They were literally breaking things at night. I stayed with my mom and it was kinda scary . Rest the room was good for the price .

We booked through OYO which was 730/- even though we paid in advance though OYO including ac,tv, wifi and many other included facilities. While checking in at 12:30pm, he made us aware that he can cancel the booking if he wishes as it is online booking and refused to accept that we already paid through OYO. He rudely mentioned that we must pay there then only he can give us room otherwise we must see other hotel. We called OYO customer care and they kept us on hold again and again and we were standing there for more than an hour. Not to mention we had child who was already tired and crying still the father son duo kept repeating rubbish that they will give us room only on payment to them and that too 1200/- and ac charges will be separate of 500/-. It is so inside area that we were forced to take the room and OYO online payment made earlier is not refunded till now. I request all those especially who are traveling with family, please please don't fall for OYO and donot consider this hotel. You will feel guilty once you go through the entire fraud process of OYO and and this rubbish guest house. The room was pathetic, dirty bedsheet and pillow covers, blanket cover had stains. Even after complain, they didn't listen. It was a nightmare experience. The father son duo seating there are running fraud and taking forced money from family and all those who are coming for peaceful travel. This hotel is a total waste of money and peace.

They took booking from make my trip. But when I reached there, they told no room is available. Then I had to find room in night with very high charge. Avoid this place, Mukundapur. Lodge owners at this place has a fraud circle. They offer low price online. And when people reach this remote location they don't give room and nearby lodge owner charges very high price. Tried people (by journey), or in night(transport communication poor) people can't go to other places.

The price showed 1200/- but I wanna pay not more than 300/- We were told that they cannot provide us AC rooms at the price we booked through OYO that was 608/- even though we opted at the said price. While checking in just before 10pm, he made us aware that he can cancel the booking if he wishes but because of the late hours he would allow us but without the AC. We agreed to it but the room was pathetic. Dirty bedsheet and pillow covers, blanket cover had stains, Although after complaint they gave us only the blanket cover and said the other things had been changed before our arrival. We spread the blanket cover over the bed that was somewhat clean. Neither we used pillow nor the blanket. It was a nightmare experience, couldn't sleep because of the mosquitoes.

Very bad.. service and Room ,AC not working, they changed extra money after pay OYO App. Pl don't book this hotel.

Check in was very trouble. I went there to stay for examination. Even check out in morning is also poor. Behaviour is not so good. They don't give AC facility. Just in one word 'horrible' experience. I prefer to say not to go there. Hotel is not clean. Bad smell all over the room. There is no option to give 0 rating otherwise i would give 0. It was wastage of 1050 rupee.

I had a great experience at the hotel. The room was clean and the amenities were adequate. The services were satisfactory and the staff was helpful. I was also very pleased with the price as it was within my budget and check-in was easy.
