Southern Plaza Hotel

A fantastic place to stay anytime! Conveniently located near excellent eateries, it offers clean, well-appointed rooms that rival those of large hotels. The service has a warm, personal touch, much like a boutique hotel. The housekeeping staff is exceptionally kind and helpful. My friends arranged for us to have an adjoining restaurant, which featured a stunning open rooftop. Gourang and the rest of the restaurant staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful experience.

Had a horrible experience staying here this time. We stayed for 7 days. We took the breakfast inclusive room tariff, and the choice of breakfast was very, very limited. Also the hotel seems completely focused on cutting corners. There are very few staff and the few that are there are lazy and inefficient. Bedsheets not changed once in the 7 days that we stayed. Room floors, bathroom floors would remain dirty, full of hair. There is just one person for room service. So if the hotel is full then you just have to keep waiting for the meal to arrive and for the dirty dishes to be removed. Further no proper facilities for parking car. Everyday the owner would come with his huge car and park it in the hotel driveway, making it impossible for guests to call their cars/cabs for easy access. Complete mai-baap attitude...wake up and smell the coffee whoever owns this hotel. Guests are king for anyone in hospitality. Without them, you would be a beggar..

Great place to stay in Southern Side of the City. Reached with greenery. Food items are good too.

Pretty good option to stay for all the time. Conveniently close to a lot of great eateries. The rooms are clean and well appointed, on par with large hotels. Service feels personal like a boutique hotel. Housekeeping staff are very warm and extremely helpful. My friends made it such that we had adjoining restaurant ! they had a beautiful open rooftop . Gourang and other restaurant staff made sure we were well taken care of. Will stay again and recommend to friends.

AC do not work. Even after complaining the Reception person do not remove the issue. Dirty service . Plz avoid staying in this hotel

Looks little constraint and the ambience is not upto the mark. And costly too. All others like food, cleanliness etc are good.

Southern Plaza is one of the oldest hotels on Southern Avenue. Their in-house restaurant, Oceania is whipping up amazing food with amazing offers. From Monday to Friday, during lunch you can try their super saver set lunch menu priced at 399 and 599 only. Their indian and chinese meals are amazing, huge portion size for 1 person. They also have about 20+ rooms and an open terrace cafe. Visit them and don't forget to enjoy their meals at great rates.

Hotel is way too congested, rooms are a bit un tidy, bedsheets,quilts ,towels etc are so old now after repeated usage,they smell , towels are rough. Walking passage is too narrow. Food is way average, a bit oily. Reception staff is courteous and polite. In terms of prices,it's not at all value for money. Hotel location doesn't match with Google location, one gets confused and even cabs also find it difficult to exactly identify.
