Went here for dinner with my partner. Having visited Sher-E-Punjab Kolaghat multiple times, I was curious to try this branch based on my partner's recommendation. First things first, getting a table was a bit of a hassle. While it wasn't the staff's fault, a group of rude diners was unnecessarily occupying a table for too long. We had to remind the staff multiple times before finally getting seated. For food, we ordered Chicken Tandoori, which was fairly standard, along with Butter Naan (huge in size) and Boneless Chicken Makhani. The main course was the highlight--rich, flavorful, and served in portions generous enough for two. There was one kitchen mishap--they forgot to add soda to our Fresh Lime Soda. After pointing it out, they quickly fixed the drink, so no major complaints there. Overall, it was a pleasant experience despite the initial wait. Will definitely revisit with a larger group next time!

One of the best Restaurants and Bar to visit in High Road, located at a prominent location, has enough parking area, enough capacity to accommodate many people at a given time. Good place to visit with family and friends. Food Quality is very good. Already visited thrice. One must try Chili Baby Corn, Chicken Bharta etc.
You know when you visit a restaurant the most important thing besides the quality of the food is the behaviour of the staff!! It was very good here, super friendly people!! And yeah, the food, it was amazing!! I'm not exaggerating at all!! The price was a little bit high but I get this. After all the atmosphere matters a lot!! If you are looking for a good place to dine, this is it!!
The ambience and staff are very good. The service was very fast and prompt. The downside was the food. Makke ki roti was too oily, sarso ki saag was not authentic and the chicken bharta was too spicy. The food was a big let down and definitely not value for money.
Great food at great price. Last night we went for a catch-up dinner and it was amazing. The food was delicious without burning a hole in my pocket. The place gives nostalgic vibe of a dhaba which we used to go with our parents. Overall highly recommended if you're in the area.
This is a resturant I dont know why google is marking this as a hotel for staying Ordered Nan, Butter chicken, Fried Rice, Garlic Chicken, Handi chicken The handi chicken was worst of all Most of it was wasted we couldn't finis the handi chicken The order arrived a bit late but the things were hot Pricing was reasonable for the quality and service provided. Will visit again on occasions but not regular basis. Things cost too much.
This restaurant, before the 90s, was a roadside Punjabi dhaba, run by local Punjabi owners and mostly well-off, business, non-Bengali customers used to come here to enjoy Punjabi food, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian, mostly of good quality. The restaurant became famous not only for its food but also for being located on the outskirts of the main city, the then Calcutta (Now Kolkata), as it was surrounded by a large area of greenery and had the Kolkata Airport in front across the road. Such an atmosphere is not available in a crowded city like then Calcutta, moreover the restaurant was very close, within driving distance from the main city. I enjoyed good food from this restaurant. And my friendships with non-Bengalis including Punjabis in then Calcutta were very good and strong then, even now. But perhaps this is the only dhaba (restaurant) where my first visit was not so pleasant. Perhaps, because I am a Bengali, when most Bengalis were not rich enough to order expensive food compared to other restaurant prices, (unlike the wealthy non-Bengalis of the business type), or they simply did not enjoy Punjabi / non Bengali food, as I usually did. The owner of the restaurant (then) made me wait for an unusually long time, even after my repeated requests and the nod of "Haan, jaldi apka order lenge" (your order will be taken soon), but rather than taking my order on time, he made me wait while taking orders from newcomers. He probably wanted me to get tired and go somewhere else, but somehow I waited, and the owner was forced to take my order, with a lot of food, which he probably did not expect from a Bengali, that too in rough clothes like a mechanic. Most likely, since job-class Bengalis rarely visited these relatively expensive, Punjabi restaurants, perhaps traditional Bengali food lovers did not visit this restaurant much at that time and so the restaurant owner probably assessed me as most Bengalis of that time - indifferent to Punjabi food. But I loved and ate all the non-Bengali food available in the whole of Calcutta at that time. This was my first experience with this dhaba restaurant.
Great ambience. But serving is slow. Food quality like tandoors are very good. Most of all location on jessore road, that's why easy communication.
