The rooms are very hygienic, offering a quiet and peaceful stay with ample parking space. The owners are warm and welcoming, and the breakfast is great. The location is convenient for exploring nearby attractions, with a metro station within walking distance. However, the place can be a bit tricky to find.

Had a pleasant stay at Red Arrow Residency. The room is value for money, with clean bathrooms. The caretaker Tapas was very helpful and is a good cook too. The location is walkable distance from Rabindra Sadan metro station and there are plenty of other transport options around this area. If you are visiting the US Consulate, then this is a good stay option.

I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with my experience at this property. I had initially booked a stay for 4 nights, but the hotel manager shockingly forced me to leave after the third night, simply because I invited my friend to join me--something I explicitly informed them about at check-in.||Upon my friend's arrival, the hotel insisted that I must modify my reservation through Booking.com, fully knowing that this was impossible due to my late-night check-in past midnight. To my disbelief, they demanded an additional payment of 1250 INR. This request was utterly absurd, considering that my room was a twin room and priced identically for either one or two occupants on Booking.com.||Having traveled extensively to over 180 countries and nearly every state in India, I have never encountered such an outrageous situation. Charging extra for a second guest when the booking platform clearly shows no price difference between single or double occupancy in a twin room is utterly unacceptable and unreasonable.||The hotel staff's insistence on an impossible booking modification unless I unjustly paid an extra 1250 INR is not just ridiculous; it reflects incredibly poor customer service and a troubling lack of fairness and professionalism.||To make matters worse, they ultimately decided to kick my friend out immediately and didn't even allow us to leave our luggage in the room I had already paid for that night. This left me feeling extremely uncomfortable and distressed, particularly as my friend was exhausted from a long journey, having just arrived from the USA. Consequently, I was forced to leave the hotel entirely, despite having fully paid for my stay.||I strongly discourage anyone from staying here unless you enjoy being unfairly treated and abruptly evicted from your room for absurd reasons. Absolutely unacceptable!

We had a great stay at Red Arrow Residency in Kolkata. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with air conditioning. The breakfast was tasty and had a good variety, and the location was convenient for exploring Bengal. We also got excellent value for our stay through Booking.com. The staff were friendly, and a special mention goes to Uttam, who was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist us. A couple of small points to be aware of--there was some slightly loud music on the first night, but it didn't go on too late. The signage for the hotel is quite poor, so it took us a while to find it (it's near a Volvo place, with a small alleyway to the right of the car garage). Also, all the rooms face a common area, so sound privacy is limited--you can hear what's happening outside, and vice versa. However, during our stay, there weren't many guests, so this wasn't an issue. Overall, we highly recommend Red Arrow Residency for a comfortable and stay in Kolkata!

Excellent guest house (aparthotel type). Simple, clean, comfortable. The rooms are located on two floors of a former residential building (2nd and 5th floors). The staff is friendly. Breakfast has two options: Indian (very filling and tasty) and European (light). You can order dinner for a very reasonable price. The metro is within walking distance. Located in the historical CC. Despite this, the place is relatively quiet, away from street noise.
