I had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The overall experience was excellent, and the staff was extremely helpful and courteous. A delightful and noteworthy experience that we had while hosting for my dad's 75th birthday. The old-fashioned hospitality and a keen eye for details made a very remarkable impression on all our guests. The food was awesome and finger licking. Before the start of main course, they gave us a taste of the food before serving. One of the guests was strictly vegetarian (not even onion) - the chef made the arrangements to bring it directly from kitchen. He even sponsored the small cake that was ordered by us on the day of the event. The waiters were always smiling and made us very comfortable when all our friends and family continued mingling on the floor of Senate-1 hall. This was very special for us, because as a family we suffered setback and losses in last few months. The success of this event set the course for future. I am grateful and we will look forward to the opportunity of hosting more events here.

I had booked peerless hotel Kolkata for 2 days starting from 8 th March.I was a single woman traveller. I had booked room at Rs 5188 plus taxes per night for single person. I think this is quite a premium price. Initially they gave me a room which resembled a den and was smelly. This room was in a The window was blocked. On confronting the reception people gave me a room at the the main building but after making me feel that they are doing some kind of favour to me. I found the reception people rude and manner less. The room had seepage as walls were damaged. Then the hot water was not working and which got fixed again after confrontation only. They took 30 min to hand me over a in room dining menu. Apart from the location my stay at Peerless hotel Kolkata was nothing short of a nightmare. As I was a single woman the hotel did not leave any opportunity to take advantage of the situation. The hotel is not suitable for single woman travellers and I will also not travel with family anymore in this hotel. Hotel is a hospitality business but at Peerless hospitality does not have any meaning

Food was delicious 5. Location was good Dislikes 1. Staff shortage was big issue, it caused delayed service every time 2. Bad smell in bathroom was a concern. Overall a good stay. Will stay here again.

The stay was quite comfortable. Ms. Riya at the reception is so accomodating and supportive. She makes it a point to assist personal touch for your stay. The resturant is quite good, fastly and healthy food and many options. Hotel is located in a good locality - close to Eden gardens, Victoria Memorial.
