ITC Royal Bengal, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Kolkata

Today we come here to celebrate my friends birthday,It was a awesome experience for us. The ambience is awesome, the food test was delicious. We really enjoy our time together. Everything was so the the staffs are very helpful. Main course to dessert item all are awesome. Thanks.

A Truly 5-Star Experience! From the moment we arrived, every detail at this hotel exceeded our expectations. The ambiance, service, and attention to detail truly define what a luxury stay should feel like. A special shoutout to Debanjali, who went above and beyond to make our visit unforgettable. Her warmth, professionalism, and personal touches made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. It's rare to come across someone so dedicated and thoughtful--she's a true asset to the team. We'll absolutely be back and will be recommending this gem to all our friends and family!

This hotel is massive, felt like i was living in a modern royal palace. I did get lost trying to find my ways. The staff was extremely courteous. I could see that excellent customer service is their top priority. The hotel room is very spacious and clean. Breakfast was also very delicious and they had too many selections to choose from. I had a great time staying at this hotel. Highly recommended!

The ambience of the hotel is great. Hygeine is maintained well. Staffs are friendly. The food is great. Quality is awesome with great taste. Sneha was really helpful from the beginning. She is friendly clicked our pictures and spoke to us while we waited for our fine.

After my delightful stay at ITC Royal Bengal from May 3rd to 11th, 2024, I wanted to share my heartfelt feedback about the exceptional hospitality I experienced, along with a few suggestions for continued excellence. ||### **Commendations:** |1. **Outstanding Team:** Staff's professionalism, warmth, and cultural inclusivity reflect a well-trained and motivated workforce. They are a true asset to the hotel. |2. **Property Aesthetics:** The hotel's grandeur, lush greenery, elegant decor, and spacious design create a refreshing and luxurious environment. |3. **Breakfast at The Grand Pavilion:** The morning experience here was a highlight! The music, exquisite variety of dishes, and impeccable freshness left me eager to start each day. |4. **Residents Lounge:** The creative mocktails, ever-changing snacks, and tranquil ambiance made evenings truly special. |5. **Health Club & Gym:** The *hot zaquzai* (truly one of India's best!) and invigorating chilled shower added a unique touch to my wellness routine. |6. **Pool & Housekeeping:** The pristine pool was a haven, and housekeeping team deserves applause for maintaining my room flawlessly. ||### **Constructive Feedback:** |1. **Pool Hygiene Awareness:** Many guests bypassed pre-swim showers and wore non-pool attire, potentially compromising hygiene. Clear signage or polite reminders by staff could encourage compliance. |2. **Corridor Cleanliness:** Used room-service trays left in hallways for hours caused odor issues. A timed pick-up system or a reminder note with food orders might resolve this. ||ITC Taj Royal Bengal Kolkata already sets a high standard in hospitality, and addressing these minor points could elevate it further. Thanks ITC Royal Bengal for making my stay so memorable--I look forward to returning and highly recommending ITC Royal Bengal to others.

Another disappointing experience with ITC Hotels, this time it is ITC Royal Bangal, Kolkata||First I was hesitant in booking but I thought to give a try as stayed last time, it was ok but not bad.||I am still in hotel and writing this to share my experience till now||#marriott|#marriottbonvoy|#itchotels||I traveled for Business purpose & selected this hotel considering 2 reasons - First it is Marriott Property & 2nd during my last stay it was told to me that from next time they will arrange dedicated elite lounge for Marriott elites.||1. As I stepped into property, no-body was there to take the luggage out & later somebody picked from me.||2. They upgraded me to ITC One, thanks come as benefit of Marriott elite status.||3. They have resident lounge and I also come to know they have elite lounge but they don't provide the elite lounge to Marriott elites. That's one thing I don't like about ITC, racism based on social status or others.||4. In room, they only had their own filtered water in reusable glass bottles. Upon asking for disposable water bottle, they refused. You are 5 star in avoiding plastic bottles but local water even if it is filtered, doesn't suite everybody. And it tastes different ...yukk.||5. Toiletries is again an exception. We book five star rated hotels so that we get all required essentials in hotel. Now the tooth brush was of wooden & Razor was also of wooden. If this feedback is read by Hotel Management, I advise please do try once brushing & shaving from the toiletries you provide. Again if nature is concern, I will Wood/Trees are more essential. BTW I will purchase the same from outside next day.||6. Now the best part, if you are one of those travellers who wants to spend evening with a drink and relaxation at lounge, forget about it. Their lounge is like fish market. Nothing good in spread, people running here and there. Absolutely non sense food menu selections and taste less. I spent some time and realized that this lounge is not worth of my time.||So, if you planning to stay, please cancel. If can't cancel, then prepare to carry every item you may need - Water,Toiletries,Towels etc - they might deny or force you to use as per their rules. And forget the relaxation at all.|||In end...What follows...everybody know..Apology this and that & justification.|Unfortunately I had to book here, but I am planning that I will never use any of the ITC hotels in future, unless damn important.||I thought so earlier also but considering an India hotel chain, I ignored.|I advise Marriott International should also look on this...

Excellent food quality and very satisfactory services. Hygiene was well maintained. Food quality was really good. Many options of cusine was there. This is not the first time we have come here it's the 5th time over here. Sneha was helpful clicking our pictures.

The hotel has an excellent structure especially the lily pond was worth watching the fishes. We really had an amazing weekend spend here in Sonar. Would love to visit again in the coming month with my family. Thank you for all the arrangements made for our anniversary.
