Worst hotel to stay. Poor service and quality. Manager and staff very incorporative . False advertising about late check out. Definitely not recommended

Very Rude behaviour of the Manager. Room was dirty, bedcover and towels was tone. Bed was full of duty spots. Absolutely horrible to stay.

Never ever visit this hotel. After booking they are saying no room available. Third class

I visited this hotel on Oct 2023 and that was the most horrible situation of my life. Very very very rude behavior of the manager of this hotel and its staff. Seems the owner does not care how the hotel southfern is running. Please think twice many times before booking this hotel. Especially in the case of booking from OYO. However, booking should be from anywhere but their staff does not know how to handle customer. Really one of the bad hotel in Kolkata. Please avoid booking.

This clearly isn't a hotel in the first place. It's a residential building turned into a hotel which is obvious from the construction. Location is good, although tucked into an alley and quite far from the main road. So if you're planning on using public transport you have to walk about a kilometre to reach the main road. Now coming to service. I stayed here for only two nights and wasn't happy at all. They don't take good care of their guests. After check-in I needed hot water but the staff was nowhere to be found. There is no proper reception and therefore there is no manning of the entrance desk all the time so you can't find service if you need at all the time. Room is small and just liveable. There is no kettle or coffee maker in the room and the breakfast is not good at all. Infact I can barely remember something good about the hotel except its price and location.

This will be a review after 2 visits. The 1st visit was very much welcoming but the 2nd visit wasn't of great experience. They haven't allowed us to check-in claiming they don't have accommodation for 3 people whereas oyo rooms are showing accommodation for 3 people at each room. And to my grief the staffs are interested to make fun of you so a big thumbs up for the staff member too. A great place to make fun of you.. Apart from that everything seems to be fine although providing a 20 rupees breakfast and claiming it to be of 100 bucks by oyo rooms.. Great job! Great team for harassment!!!

Lovely homely, clean, good service, excellent value for money. The only downside was the absence of a lift (which was being installed during my stay there) It should be up and running within a week. The manager and room service staff are extremely helpful and accommodating. They are also coming up with a Bengali cusiene restaurant shortly (looking forward to it). Best hotel in its price range.
