Budget friendly Hotel, Staffs were cooperative. Decent food. Location is good. Enjoyed our stay. Some small changes can make it a better place.

Very courteous staff and excellent food, had a nice and pleasant stay. Priyanka has provided excellent support. House keeping staff were also very helpful. Room was spacious and clean with a good view and location is also easily accessible.

It was hell experience at there. Dirty rooms unwashed bed sheet, washroom was smelling very uncomfortable I booked from goibibo . The pictures they showed I was not given that room, they said that room was already booked but I paid for good one which was not worthy. Half of the reviews are fake . Be careful

The hotel is very pleasant, and a very nice peaceful environment. And less to say about the staff, they are very helpful and their service really impressed me. All of us have to work in many places, we cannot expect to receive such care. But they serve each of their guests with great care, and the hotel is extremely clean. The entire time I stayed at this hotel, every employee there became like my family. I will definitely come to this hotel when I come to Kolkata again.

HORRIBLE, SIMPLY STAY AWAY Sheldon Inn hotel, Kolkata is horrible and advertising was deceptive. Another hotel room shared a common area with my hotel room and that was not indicated in the ad. Owner was rude, disrespectful & unprofessional and I urge you to stay away. The owner was disrespectful, rude and yelled at his workers. I reserved the room for at least 10 days and I checked in on 01/21/2023. I arrived there late at night from the USA and it was my first visit to India on business. I was very disappointed when I saw my small hotel room and it appeared they used wide lenses to make the room look bigger. The hotel room was an unfinished little apartment. Room lacked safety and security. There was no hot water and I bathed with cold water. They kept a bucket in the bathroom. The shower did not have a shower door and after taking a shower, the bathroom floor was all wet and I couldn't use the toilet. They advertised complimentary breakfast but I was served none. There is no basic stuff like a coffee maker, refrigerator etc. The manager promised to get me a refrigerator by 9am the next day. When I asked about refrigerator status around 10 am in the morning, they asked me to leave. I immediately settled my bill fully and the owner went to lock my room with my belongings and passport and I called the police. I got myself a cab and left there as fast as I could.

To sum it up, very clean and great hotel with amazing beds, but the room size is little small. This hotel has one of the greatest rooms when it comes to cleanliness and the ambient vibes of the hotel, like I've seen in 3 star or 4 star hotels (or maybe even better). The beds are amazing and soft and springy, great to relax. The room comes with a mini refrigerator, which is great if you need it for something like an afterparty or whatever. The only downside was that the room was a little cramped, but i think that can be overlooked because of the quality of the room you are getting for such a price.

The prices of the rooms are way too high , just because we do not have any other option in that area. The bathroom is very small and does not have proper facilities. I had to call the reception 3-4 times for the shortage of water in the washroom. The prices in the menu given by the hotel are way too overpriced(For one sandwich it is Rs 110, for one bottle of mineral water it is Rs 37)..I don't know for what reason because the sandwich they gave was very bland. After such a soaring price , he thinks that we will buy food from the hotel and outside food is not allowed. The manager is very rude and does not know how to talk to a person whose family is in the hospital. The staff is nice and helpful.

Best Service. Very Helpful Staff and such a accurate service. On Spot Service. Fresh and Delicious Food have been served. Clean and Tidy Rooms with ample of Space. Bathroom were very clean. Fresh Smell. Happy to stay in Hotel Sheldon Inn.
