Hotel O Marquis Street formerly BK International

I recently stayed at this hotel in Kolkata for a solo trip. It was an okayish experience overall, and somewhat reasonable for the price charged. The air conditioning worked well, which was much needed in the scorching heat. The bathroom was clean, and the staff were polite and helpful throughout my stay. However, the room was extremely small, with no cupboard or proper space to store belongings, which made things a bit inconvenient. The absence of a proper hotel signboard at the entrance also made it a little hard to find. Additionally, the room walls could use a good cleaning or repainting. It's a decent option for a short solo stay if you're not expecting too much comfort or space.

This is a very bad hotel, don't make any booking. The room is cleaned once in a year. The bedsheet is washed once in 100 years. You will definitely find someone else's hair in the bedsheet and blanket, I have also found it. Those people don't recognize soap, shampoo, towel. You will not find a hotel as bad as this in the whole of Kolkata.

The room was dirty, but the staff was a bit supportive. There was no parking. The worst part was that there was no signboard for navigation or the hotel name written outside. I faced extreme difficulty finding it.

I don't know why this hotel doesn't have good review. But I personally feel like it is pretty good

I had booked a hotel from 26 to 29 December 2024, the staff there and even worse, the manager behaved badly, they threaten the customers and also threaten to beat them up, My request to everyone is that no one should stay there. Hotel name: BK International Guest House, Near HDFC ATM

If you're staying at this hotel for more than a day, prepare for a disappointing experience. Room cleaning only happens every third day, which is far from standard. Plus, the manager might ask you to settle your bill daily, which is quite odd and inconvenient. I travel 3-4 times a month, and I've never encountered such poor practices. On top of that, the staff is unfriendly, which just makes things worse. And don't be surprised if you find dirty bed covers or stain marks on the pillowcases and bed sheets - it's something you might encounter here. The rooms are incredibly cramped - you basically walk in and hit the bed, with hardly any room to move around or store your luggage. It's manageable if you're alone, but still uncomfortable. I wouldn't recommend it for more than one person, given the tiny space, poor service, and unhelpful management. Overall, it's a frustrating experience that's definitely not worth the hassle.

Best hotel to stay as per my solo visit .

Room service & the manager both are not good. So call manager.. Actually he is broker. Don't stay here.. Its my hummable request to all. Specially From my Lovable BANGLADESHI PEOPLE.
