Hotel O Majestic Inn

My experience with this Hotel was Pathetic. First of all, I was asked to pay 500 rupees extra while checking in, though my booking was prepaid with Agoda. The room was dirty and stinking. Cockroaches and other insects were roaming everywhere in the room. Also the tables were broken. No Blankets were provided. It seems the location is good as it is adjacent to many railway stations but believe me it's not. It is located in a slum area. I wish I could give it a 0 star or minus rating.

Located in slum area, room accomodations are not functioning properly such as TV, Lift. Not even proper water supply in taps. If you ask then each time they used to say" right now restoration work is going on that's why the problem". The price range is not valid for this hotel. Overall a bad experience.Not money worthy. Prefer not to visit the hotel. Don't come here.

Very rude behavior of hotel manager. He demands extra cash 1000 which is absolutely ridiculous. Not good for family nor with friends if you have no other options left than you should check in but i suggest avoid this type of property.

Rooms were not up to the mark as shown on application. Hygiene issue, stains on walls, stains on washrooms. Have raised multiple queries regarding it to OYO customer service,they were not able to resolve my issue with the hotel. Therefore had to check out on the same day late night.

Aboslutely disgusting. The 1st thing they did was ask for extra money, over 1.5 times the daily price. They threatened to cancel the booking if not paid immediately, and no bill was given (though I paid via UPI and have the transaction proof). I had to pay as I had all my luggage with me and it would be a hassle to find a new hotel. Biggest mistake. Rooms are moldy and very small. There is no working exhaust fan on ANY washroom (the staff himself confirmed this). There was black fungus on the pillow. The AC was fixed on a single temperature as the remote was not working. The fan was wobbling so bad you are afraid it'd fall on your head. Geyser not working, switches in the bathroom are dilapidated, can't switch on the lights.

Ridiculous behaviour by the hotel staff. Also I had a booking through OYO which showed a price. I booked via it because I needed a one day stay at lower price. After reaching the hotel, the the reception guy asked for extra money. Since, I didn't wanna get hassled much, I even accepted the extra 600 to be paid. But I did the payment through the OYO app itself. Now they got angry about that, and they needed that extra 600 in their own UPI. This all hassle made me wait for almost an hour. Worst experience.

I am not finding any single good point about this hotel. They took 15mins just for check-in. We came Kolkata from Vadodara and directly came here so that my parents can take some rest. But without proving original ID card they didn't even offer a glass of water, forget about entering room and then provide ID card. Room? No TV, AC doesn't work, Geyser not working, they don't provide bath towel/soap. What else do you want to read. Don't spent money here and try to get better hotel

Great place to stay. Affordable price for rooms. The rooms are quite spacious. The mattress are soft and bouncy. Hotel staffs are friendly. They have in house food items as well. I have tried Crispy Chicken Fries (Rating 4.5/5), Fried Rice (Rating 4.2/5), Chili Chicken (4.1/5), Chicken Lollipop (3/5). Most of the main dish items were good. Location is quite convenient. The atmosphere is calm and less noisy. It almost 15 minutes away from Ultadanga Station aka Bidhan Road Station. Bus, auto, train transports are easily accessible after walking 5-10 minutes. Never faced any issues with security or inconvenience. Good for safe and relaxed stays. Its best to call them and book your room, than booking online on third party websites for better prices and smooth check-ins. ID proof like Aadhaar card or Ration card is required for all people who book the room.
