Hotel New Diamond

Shittiest possible stay i ever experienced. An OYO customer representative called me while searching for rooms in the location, and convinced me that's the best possible's room out there. On reaching was a completely opposite story. Very small beds, had to sleep diagonally to accommodate myself. Water available, informed the receptionist after which a feeble stream of water was available. Bare minimum cleanliness. DO NOT VISIT, IF YOU PRIORITISE ON CLEANLINESS AND COMFORT.

Horrible Experience - Never Again! I don't even know where to begin with how awful my stay a hotel new diomond was. From the moment I arrived, I could tell this place was nothing like what was advertised. The lobby was messy and uninviting, and the front desk staff seemed completely uninterested in helping guests. Check-in was painfully slow, and the receptionist acted as if I was bothering them just by being there. When I finally got to my room, I was horrified. It smelled musty, as if it hadn't been cleaned properly in ages. The carpet had stains, the furniture was scratched and falling apart, and the bed looked like it had been slept in before. The bathroom was even worse--mold in the corners, grime in the shower, and the towels were thin, rough, and had a weird odor. I immediately regretted booking this place, but unfortunately, I had no other option for the night. Sleeping was impossible. The walls were so thin that I could hear everything happening in the next room, from conversations to loud music to doors slamming all night. To make matters worse, the mattress was hard and uncomfortable, and the pillows were lumpy. I woke up with back pain and barely any rest. This was, without a doubt, one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, even if it were the last available option. Save your money, your patience, and your sanity--stay somewhere else.

Hotel New Diamond - A Very Disappointing Experience I had a terrible experience staying at Hotel New Diamond. The reality of this hotel is completely different from what is shown online. Here's a detailed review of my stay: *Negative Aspects:* Misleading Images - The pictures on Google, MakeMyTrip, and other websites are completely fake. The actual rooms look nothing like the photos, and the difference is shocking. Dirty Rooms - The rooms are extremely unhygienic, with dust and stains everywhere. Proper cleaning is clearly not a priority. Unclean Bedding - The bed, bedsheets, and blankets were filthy, with visible stains and a bad smell. It felt like they were not washed in a long time. Frequent Couple Check-ins - The hotel seems to be used frequently by couples for short stays, which might make some guests uncomfortable. No Free Water - Basic drinking water is not provided in the rooms, and guests are forced to buy it. This is unacceptable for any hotel. No Basic Toiletries - Bathroom slippers, soap, handwash, and shampoo were not provided. Guests are expected to manage on their own, which is highly inconvenient. No In-House Dining - The website falsely claims that the hotel has an in-house restaurant, but there is none. Guests must order food online, which is misleading and inconvenient. *Positive Aspects:* Good Location - The only real advantage of this hotel is its location, which is convenient and easily accessible. Courteous Staff - The staff members were polite and cooperative, but they couldn't make up for the overall poor experience. *Final Verdict:* Hotel New Diamond is not worth the money and does not deliver what it promises online. The lack of cleanliness, false advertising, and missing basic amenities make it a bad choice for travelers. Unless the management takes serious steps to improve, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Avoid at all costs!

The only good thing about this place is the location. Rooms are dirty, dust, cigerette butts , used soap and shampoo pack from previous occupancy still found in sink and bathroom. Amenities is very basic almost none, not even a complimentary water bottle, had to ask three times for a bar of soap. Inhouse dining/restaurant not available not room service. Though there are option for eatery nearby but most are dirty and unhygienic. Strangely, I see lots of review describing hotel as clean and with delicious food(definitely fake review), with same pattern with comment. Unless desperate for a room, please avoid. Just within 10 metre there are other hotel with probably cleaner rooms and better amenities. NOTE : The manager on desk Mr. John was quite approachable and he had my room changed after the complain. Another good feature besides the location.

COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL 11th April, 2025, I stayed in room number 2001 at second floor of this hotel. This room is so small that you can't breathe properly. The room was not properly cleaned. There was immense lack of hygiene everywhere. The contact number of the reception was not responding. Water taps in the washroom were dry. On requesting the staffs, they said the pumpset has been broken down. It will take 2 hrs to get repaired. The situation was horrible. After 4 hrs water was provided. The air-conditioner was not functioning properly, no remote control was provided. The television was non-functional in the room. The staffs were rude and unprofessional.

It was a great experience visiting hotel new diamond staff behaviour is very good and ambitious is also very good. The manager behaviour is very good. And well behaved. I say all my guests.

This is one of the finest and affordable stays in Kolkata. The rooms were clean and the service was really good. Manager Mr.John was really polite and helpful and other staff of the hotel were also well behaved.

Worst hotel in kolkata.....no hygienic rooms and zero services. Totally waste of money. Please don't come here. The images shown in this hotel are fake and the bathroom is totally shitty
