Hotel 233 Park Street

While most things were tolerable, and the rooms were clean...the disgusting thing was that the water filter was in a toilet...ecoli waiting to happen....no matter how good the place is would definitely deter you from going purely from a hygiene and health perspective...the sad part is the lax attitude of the staff is even more disappointing...my advise...STAY AWAY!!!

Hotel 233 Park Street is a great stay. The hotel staffs were available 24*7. They were very caring,well behaved and helpul. The hospitality they have shown me was something i would remember for the rest of my life. Situated near Park Circus seven point,this hotel has an amazing connectivity. It's a beautiful place for staycation as well.

This is a renovated property, where owner tried to give a heritage look to the rooms. Other than bed and furniture everything is contemporary.||||All 6 rooms are on the ground floor and the doors open in the lobby towards reception. No need to call reception, open the door and receptionist boy or girl are in front of you, faster than phone call.||||105 and 106 seems to be bigger in size than rest of the rooms and are called Deluxe rooms whereas other rooms are Standard.||||Standard room size is small and power packed with one queen size bed, small two seater sofa, a table and study table, cupboard and chest with coffee tea maker and 32 inch LED above it.||||Room and bathroom were neat and clean without any window and scope for ventilation. Two bottles of mineral water (1 ltr each) with tea coffee maker were complimentary.||||Staff ( Naveen, Ali and Tanzila) were very cooperative and always ready to help. ||||4 breakfast choices (complimentary) and one which I had was really good (aloo prantha with curd and fresh fruits). They have their kitchen upstairs and room service was available. ||||Location was good ( 7 light point) and advantageous only if you come early and have free time to roam outside.||||They have only six rooms and their target customers are foreigners so I don't think that they will every improve or listen to the feedback. ||||In my opinion not an appropriate choice for business travelers due to the high price and no recreational activities.

A destination, back in time Keeping in tune with the rich culture and lifestyle of Kolkata. Apart from the cleanliness and good facilities, their concierge is amazing. They take very good care of each need and make sure that everything is done in time. Beautifully crafted rooms.Yet service needs to be ramped up majorly by the hotel management. They should have a bigger sign board as the name of the hotel and name of the street in which it is located is same.

Nice, cooperative staff. The receptionist and the guards are very helpful. ||The rooms are as shown in the pics.... old world charm.||The location is fantastic- right at 7 point junction. But the location is just next to a busy street..which means traffic noise all day. Also, no parking space.||||Recommended if you want a whiff of old charm, and need a place to rest after travelling or being out the whole day

It was a great stay. antique furnitures along with beautiful lighting. Everything was in place except for the fact that the place was on the ground floor and there was a strange musty smell due to the lack of light. Apart from this, the hospitality was good and so were all the amenities.

Hotel 233 Park Street has the experience of an antique hotel. The furniture such as the bed with "Poshari" (beautiful curtains that serve as mosquito nets) are thoughtful additions to the design. The lighting and brown furniture remind you of Kolkata of yore. They also serve a pamphlets/pages containing information about Old Kolkata. The staff was very hospitable. You should consider staying here if you are fond of places with old world charm.

The room was well furnished and comfortable. The staff are super helpful. When my TV flickered they quickly went to a great effort to try to fix it and then replaced it. This hotel is at the 7 points end of Park Street and not the Esplanade end.
