Holiday Inn Kolkata Airport, an IHG Hotel

Hi, This was my first visit to the Holiday Inn at Kolkata and I must say that I was quite impressed with the service provided. As soon as the staff was made aware that I was a silver elite member, they were quick to acknowledge and also linked the booking to my account. The room was very comfortable and was very good for a 1 night stay. During the breakfast buffet, the staff were very cordial in helping and assisting and going out of the way to provide exceptional service. If I had the chance to visit another Holiday Inn or any other hotel brand under IHG, I would happily visit again. So thank you !

From my check in to Check out this property is top notch in terms of staff and its service but then it needs major renovation w.r.t. rooms and their furniture, The rolling chair kept for desk is in bad shape as one of the handle was almost broken and was just in hinges, as i was upgraded to suite but as usual the suit furniture is not outdated and so much unkept that it has started looking dirty, if you dont wanna change it then atleast get it repolished as after so much cleaning its looks dirty due to spot on it, the walls of both the suites i.e. 6019 & 6020 are dirty and have spots on the same, this time i found flies inside the bathroom which i have never experienced in a 5 star property, along with this basic amenities like hair dryer and extra towel and hand towel are always missing from then rooms, Please remember you are representing a brand which has its own legacy and reputation and you need work towards the same, The positive side is that the front office staff and the staff in restaurant is extremely helpful and courteous, specially Manas, Umar and the restaturant Manager. I will keep coming back to this same property which i preferred over other 5 star property last year but some changes needs to be done for the same, I more then need that Cheese platter which you have mentioned in your IRD menu but its always missing when someone wants to order the same.

Overall I would give 3 star to this hotel. Room were clean and decent as it meant to but the lobby, lounge, lift and swimming area is absolutely disgusting. The table in lobby is full of scratches and dirt, same with the carpet. I don't blame the cleaning staff because they work really hard to keep everything top notch but it's the top manager who don't care about the management of the hotel. Gopal who cleaned our room. Absolutely Brilliant! I didn't notice the name of the guy in the reception but he needs to behave and learn some politeness. He ask me wait for 15 min to get the room key, I went out to get some water and came back after 20 min but the room wasn't ready yet. A big lie after my long haul flight wasn't acceptable. He didn't even apologise for this. It was afternoon on 09 April between 12-2 pm ishh... On the other hand, big thank you to kitchen team who were absolutely amazing serving with smile on face. A five star service for kitchen team who went above and beyond to add cherry on top during our stay.. thank you to chef Tapu, Dwipayan beauty, sathi, Mohor..

It's very comfortable. |Best quality of rooms & services. |I think no need to change any thing. |Staff behaviour is good. & Well cooperative.|Food quality is very good. Meeting hall is nice & well arranged. Restaurant is very comfortable & well arranged with well behaved staff.

Good hospitality and nice rooms. And near by airport. Food is excellent . Variety of items in buffet. Mutton biryani must try dish. One must visit near by airport. Swimming pool is view city is most impressive one must try. Also staff is vet supportive

The hotel is in a great location commute wise and proximity to city center mall and other restaurants( walkable Arsalan, Aminia, Siraj)...Staff is very courteous and helpful. Shayan from the banquet, Soumen, Puja from the restaurant....Susmita and Somnath from the front desk were very approachable and helpful. Overall great stay...improvement area..rooms are getting a truffle old and the lunch buffet spread has to be improved...

Rooms and the service were top notch. Cleanliness was well maintained. Location was a bit far from new town but it's near to Eco park. Outside food was also allowed. Condition of the amenities were good too. Last but nit the least food was awesome.

I stayed there for 6 days and the staff at Holiday inn truly made my stay special. From the warm welcome to the attentive service, everyone went above and beyond. The room was clean, and staff were very helpful. While lunch options were limited, the staff's hospitality more than made up for it. I'd highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional service.
