Green Home Stay Kolkata

We really loved being in the Green Home stay. It was a good place for us to get rested. The host of the homestay is a very hospitable and nice guy who helped us with gas and other things. The apartment is authentic but there is a nice huge balcony roof where you can relax, do yoga or watch the sky. The place is very very quiet Diman, you are our favourite Indian

location is prime. rooms are good with blankets and all. bathroom is not clean properly. room service is bad, I feel. no dustbin at all inside the room. price is very low. according to the price, it is good. one negative point I faced, there is no receptionist. even when we were going to check out, no one was there. I called in the hotel number two times. they received it but did not answer properly, so we went away without check out formalities.

I stayed in the dormitory for overnight stay. The owner is extremely welcoming and very nice behavior. He takes care of it personally it seems as much he can do. Not at all money minded. You feel at home. Its value for money stay near to airport.

Not recommended. The rooms are in very bad condition. I had booked it for my friends, they just used the room to keep their luggage, they couldn't even rest for a while in this place..It has this strange vibe..

I stayed at Green Home Stay Kolkata (GHSK), initially because it was close to the airport. I found the owner to be very warm and welcoming, and my stay had the benefits of a comfortable stay away from home I met other visiting guests and I'm extremely appreciative of the many things offered and provided during my stay. Of I'm back in Kolkata, I'll stay here, and I recommend it for others.

i stayed there for 2 days and it's very budget friendly. there is a free drinking water supply for the customers. the rates are quite cheap but the location is very remote. it's inside a locality and it is also somewhat difficult to reach as it's not on the main road. the maintenance was not good as the front desk and reception was very untidy. it was not even cleaned regularly. we saw the host the time we entered and after that he was never present in the reception. at night the front gate was kept open which made us feel very unsafe as it's not normal for anyone to not lock their place of accomodation at night. anyone could enter at any time and the owner wouldn't even notice. the room were unkempt too, the bed sheets look too old along with the bed covers. the bathroom was somewhat fine. but maintenance is a big problem.

Extremely unhygienic and bad. The vibe & atmosphere of the place is off. Did not feel safe for female guests. The host is a creepy man, if you follow closely, most pictures are screenshot of some hidden camera or CCTV. 5 star reviews posted here are totally fake. The location is remote with bad condition of roads. The condition of the whole house is the worst part. The rooms are extremely small, bathrooms are worse than hell it seems. The toilet was black stained. One bucket was kept, which had a dead house lizard decomposing in it. The bedsheets, covers & blankets were smelling to the point where it couldn't be used. The trash was not even cleaned. Also, rifles were kept on display and overall the atmosphere was extremely unpleasant. Altogether this place is a scam. I will definitely not recommend staying at this dirty dungeon.

Had a memorable stay at the place. The owner of the house was kind, friendly, and humorous person. He provided an excellent service. If you are staying at the place, the food is highly recommended as it includes traditional Bengali dishes prepared by the owner himself. It is the best and most affordable accommodation if you are visiting Kolkata by a plane as it is nearby to the Airport.
