Golden Inn

I had a horrible experience. I visited this place (restaurant) during Durga Puja,24. The behaviour of the staff were very rude and unprofessional. All the tables were occupied due to durga puja but there was no waiting. But staff were behaving like, 20-50 people are waiting outside. I ordered drink along with a Chinese starter of fish and it was horrible and Pathetic. I just had the veggies from the dish. I would never recommend this place to anyone even on normal days.

The room where we initially stayed was very small and there were no basic amenities. We approached the hotel counter and insisted for a better room (double) and same was arranged on our return from Sunderban. The room service was okay. There is a restaurant which needs to be improved because the food quality was ordinary.

Worst place to hangout. Waiter's behaviour is very bad, never recommend it to anyone.

I have been to so many hotels but I havent had such worst experience which I had in here. Geyser was not working. Bed sheets and pillow were extremely dirty. I was told manager would access the TV for us but he didnt show up till we were there. Worst experience of staying. My parents were also with me and they were too upset of me because I booked such horrible stay.

Close to airport. Only used the Resturant. Reasonably priced well stocked bar. Despite late in afternoon and in absence of Main chefs we were served decent quality, good quantity food. And ofcource liqour.

Being a native and staying in the same vicinity, I feel this hotel is good for early morning flyers or midnight flyers. Very economical charges and the staff is really good. I often visit their Bar, I feel their services are up to the mark. Please don't expect a 4 star sort of facility here, but if you want to be in the vicinity of Airport at economical rates, this place can be good one for your night sleep!

Very Rude behaviours of staff. Facilities like geyser and fan regulators were not working. Fan was set to full speed and there's no options to change the speed as it was broken. Bathroom fittings are rusted and seems were installed and never changed since 1950s. Even after wanting to confirm if everything works before moving in to which they told, "Yes everything works." After moving in they blamed it to previous customer's and not provided any solutions to that. AC & TV were of old model and no remotes were provided for TV and AC. So you have to lift youself up to shut down the TV. But for the AC YOU CANT EVEN CHANGE THE TEMPERATURE as and when required not even by pressing the buttons on AC. Pathetic Experience overall and I came with my wife and elderly in-laws during November when it was not that cold but not too warm so AC adjustment was necessary. But even after many requests they didn't provide the remote. When asked to the receptionist he said, "we should have selected and 5star hotel as we demand so much. Overall this hotel doesn't deserve your hard earned money. Also if you come on holiday, your holiday will become hellday. (Keep that in mind before moving in!)

It's worth it. Quality rooms at affordable prices. Service is also good. Superb ambience. Anyone will love it. Perfect place to retire after a day's hectic journey. Shopping malls are at a walking distance as well. Very close to Airport. Just loved it....
