FabHotel AG Star - Hotel in Near Kolkata Airport, Kolkata

I recently stayed at this hotel for a short layover, and while it wasn't anything fancy, it served its purpose. The biggest advantage is its proximity to the airport, making it a convenient option for travelers with early flights or brief stopovers. The rooms were below average--small, not the cleanest, and in need of some maintenance. The amenities were minimal, and the overall atmosphere felt a bit outdated. However, given the extremely low rates, I wasn't expecting luxury. If you're looking for a budget-friendly place to crash for a night or two, this hotel is a decent option purely for its location and price. But if comfort is a priority, you might want to consider other alternatives.

Dirty rooms. Bed sheets have several cigarette burnt marks. Blanks have turned off-white and no impression of them being washed off late. Bathroom do not have proper soap holder or brush holder. Very small sink. Even bathroom water was not draining out in room 202! It was getting clogged. Corridor is full of cigarette smoke smell. Room food service was on time and food was tasty. So no complaints on that. Thumbs up. Location is near airport. That's the reason I took the room . I regret going there. The sofa in the reception is so dirty. Nobody will feel like sitting on it. Reception boys are okay. I have doubts of the other ratings this hotel has got. One word.AVOID.

Staff is not cooperating. No transfer service to airport. Took more money to arrange taxi at departure time. Feel that they tried to grab maximum from me.

This hotel is a complete scam. The receptionist ignored the hotel's policy, which allows visitors until 8 PM, and refused to let our guest in at all. They tried to gaslight us into booking another room. They were very rude. I strongly advise against staying here.

I checked in to find cockroaches, mould, cigarette burns on the sheets, and hairs and sweat stains on the pillows. I then flicked the hot water switch in the bathroom and was electrocuted. I am lucky to have survived, if it was an elderly person who knows what could have happened. I tried to check out for fear of my safety and was offered no apology or refund, and lodged a complaint with bookingdotcom, I have now discovered that the hotel has hacked my booking account and left a 10/10 review in my name. This indicates all their other reviews must be fake and explains everything. I have reported the hotel to Kolkata police, not only is this hotel unsafe for guests but it is clearly full of scammers and criminals - please be careful. I have been to India 8 times and have never encountered a situation like this before, I truly hope it doesn't happen to anyone else.

Its Shows 3.5 Stars rating. At the time of online booking showing picture are tottaly different with the actual. Bad smell, not clean, staff is good but not deserve even 1 star. See picture....

Worst room service, worst receptionists. Rude and impolite staff and dishonest receptionist. They were falsifying the policies and trying to overcharge. Rooms were dirty and in a mess
