Dalhousie Guest House

First thing first.. the lift was out of order, Which i didn't like. There were different sizes of rooms on each floors. The top floor had small size of rooms which were very compact and in summer it will be undesirable to stay. The rooms furnitures were just OK. There was an early check-in money charged from me which i didnt like it. All staff members were very friendly. Overall experience is good but there room charge was on a bit higher side.

Very suffocating room. In the whole corridor no window was there taking room and bathroom both not any small hole was there for air circulation. Rooms are made for only AC but they are continuing those as non AC rooms. I must say very very very suffocating room. With no window present in the whole room how we survived just we know. Also the floor was not cleaned properly. When I asked for 2 plates to eat in night even they didn't able to manage that while on other hotels 2plates,2cups,1cattle these things are given..these are all bare basics. The only thing that is good that the hotel is at a stones throw from howrah bridge that's it. Nothing else than that one can find good in this hotel.

This was a very good experience to stay at this hote. We have been for 4 days and night and all the days staff was very friendly. They were attending us very carefully.Hotel room was also king sized and very clean. Thanks for making our Kolkata trip very Familiar and happy. Thanks to all receptionist and Hotel staff.

Couldn't give you guys rating of Zero or lower then that which you deserve. Don't ever book this place for your stay. I have booked 19 rooms for 37 old people including my parents who visited Ganga Sagar for darshan on 30th oct and the rooms were booked for one night. But this hotel staff not even let the people enter inside the gate as they were late to check in. According to the manager you cannot check in after 10pm at night. I want to know what if someone's flight or train is been delayed what you guys will do? If you guys are doing such a great job by having fake ratings of 3 or 3 and a half star then why your hotel contact number is not mentioned on your website? Why we have to call OYO customer service to talk with you and you can disconnect the call on my face? I wish i could literally abuse you on this. Pathetic you guys are even worse.

Apart from the location proximity to railway station, there is nothing positive of the place. Maintenance is poor, forget about any ambience. Not recommended for family stay, probably a one night stay for bachelors if no alternate. Staff is not at all courteous, especially Sumir who is in the reception. If you still proceed, no doubt you are taking a risk!

1 room is nice 2 some bed bug present be aware from this 3 room receptionist is polite 4 no wife available but it's ok 5 very cheap hotel in Kolkata one of the cheapest hotel but nice facilities 6 clean aqua filter water availability 24 hours 7 ac is present but not working but it's was said by the owner that it's a non AC hotel 8 closing time is 10 pm 9 there are many street food around this hotel 10 located near just howrah bridge 11 book through Oyo you will get best offer 12 room is nice water is ok 13 some ladies hair present in the bathroom and the floor of room and pilow also 14 I was there for 2 nights and they have changed 800 for double bed non ac room isn't so cheap? 15 lift not working 17 bathroom is very clean 18 tv not working

Pathetic guest house. Staff service is even bad. Room walls have varied range of stains, dont know what people do in the room. Dont ask about bathroom, railway station toilet is better than this.

Full of dirty things in the room.... Bad receptionist bad hospitality... Bad room... And best thing is there is a Hole in every room to see the personal moments of couples... One of rubbish hotel... Necessary Case are going to be filed against this guest house
