Basera Guest House

Had booked a couple of rooms for guests to stay during a family wedding. Hospitality was good and the condition of the rooms are clean, maintained hygiene up to the mark. Room costs were also reasonable. Would definitely recommend this place.

He best guest house you can find in south kolkata Golpark area . Excellent staff , clean , tidy rooms and very accommodative team to support your support . Abhishek and Arpita are very helpful . Highly recommend this stay

Rooms are okish. Cleaned. The ac makes too much noise. Staff behaviour is very good. Overall you can stay here in affordable budget.

I booked through MMT and it was mentioned that I'll be getting a balcony attached to my room but I didn't get it and the room was very small. The service was good and it is in a prime location.

3rd class hotel I have ever stayed. They provided us a small room although we paid almost 1800/-.They told us other room are booked so they have left with that room.I Dont know if they don't have no better Room so why they didn't stop booking.Room was not cleaned properly. The walls of the room were very dirty.Other's Hair was visible through out the bedsheet. Two single bed was joined together to make a double beded room !!Very dirty bedsheet/pillow cover/window cover.The most surprising thing is that, they provided us a broken seal water bottle, saying it was the water of an aqua guard!!How a guest house/hotel authority can provide a broken seal water bottle !! horrible experience! U will get much better hotel at this price at Lake Hotel/Casa Broadway which are within 300 meter from this disgusting guest house.

My stay at Basera Guest House experience is mixed.. The night we entered they didn't pick up our call.. we were exhausted because of the heat and so many mosquitoes..after a long journey..the all out also does not work .. no smell too. No room freshener sprays before we have this room...also the room was given makes me feel claustrophobic sometimes.. but we don't have any option to change it.. i want to tell them that their rooms are congested..and the making plan of the engineer is very bad.. We couldn't sleep the whole night and continuously tried to reach the customer service number from 10 pm to 9 am.. can you guess how bad we felt that time.. during the helpless situation.. it's exhausting.. The front ambience is good but There is no canteen in this hotel.. the location is very very nice but not the hotel rooms . No racks were attached to hang clothes . The next day they told us after complaining that the phone lines were under maintenance..now it's fixed .. so we have nothing to say. Then I told them which things to arrange or fix in the room .. cleanliness n all etc , they immediately came and did everything nicely. Even every day they did the same and talked respectfully.. I genuinely liked the staff behaviour.. they were so nice. The security guy waits for us late at night until we reach there.. also they take the food from the delivery boy and make sure it reaches us in our room without delay . So , it's a mixed experience for me n my sister.
