Hotel Amar Raj

I had to stay at this hotel but I wish I hadn't. My experience is not just horrible but I was also shocked. I had a rush while checking out from the hotel and I forgot my charger there. When I went back to get it they not only misbehaved but didn't return it. They completely denied the fact that they had it with them the whole time. They didn't return a small thing like a charger. I can only wonder if it were a valuable item to what extent they could have gone.

Very bad experience in my life. Hotel staff behaviour is very rough and not enough space room, mosquito in the room not provided any mosquito coil or oil. Room service is very very poor. Food quality is fair but high price. Maybe it's an oyo hotel. Bcz I saw a single girl outside of the hotel at the time of 1 am. I do not give recommendations for staying official purposes like me.

I have no idea why people are criticizing this place so much.Even though this place is really nice, and the staff is so good that I can't even explain.One day after checking out of my hotel, I remembered that I had lost my AirPods there. When I visited the hotel again, they had kept my AirPods safely and handed them over to me.

I booked this hotel for one night to catch the early morning flight from Kolkata Airport. After booking, the owner asked me to transfer Rs. 500/- as an advance for confirming the booking. I sent it without any hesitation. The day I was about to checked in, I informed the owner that I will reach hotel in the evening. The owner confirmed me that he will keep the room. Once I with my family arrived to the hotel, the office staff starts misbehaving as if I have done a mistake coming to the hotel. He did not even bother to ask my booking details. He said there is no room. Then he asked me to call the owner as if he does not have any accountability to me. After calling the owner, I relaized that it is a biggest mistake to book with this hotel. Then, they shifted me to another hotel. Please never ever choose this hotel. The owner and his staffs are quite unprofessional and arrogant.

One of the worst hotel in kolkata...... Rooms are very dirty, bedsheet smeels awfully room service the worst ...... Ac not working plus washroom stinks too much .... This dont even deserve a half star

It is not a hotel. It is a guest house, location is shaddy. Prefer not to stay In profile, it is mentioned a 3 star hotel. It does not deserve even 1 star.
