We enjoyed lot with my family and son's inlaws. It's an wonderful experience as far as services are concerned. The gardens are excellently maintained with natural inhabitants. Thanks to management for their excellent conceptualization to implement & maintain this antique property with suited decorations amalgamated with friendly staff behaviours and apt hospitalization & services. I recommend people to come with their families & enjoy the nature with good food & services. Thanks to all staffs for their good services and request to keep up their good work to achieve customer satisfaction & fulfilment upto their hearts' brim.

Terrible experience. We were made to sit outside where there were no proper sitting area while they had air-conditioned seating available inside -- yet they didn't let us in or even bother to apologize. On top of that, they were forcing us to share a table with strangers, despite having free seats for two. No courtesy, no basic hospitality. And the food? So oily it was barely edible. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who values comfort, respect, or decent food. ** NOTE :- Don't get carried away by the pictures posted on the social media **

It was an awesome experience. The sweet flavour of ganges was the most beautiful part. A must visit place during cloudy weather and winter. Just a feedback to the restaurant- You need to have an exhaust system for the open kitchen. The smell of garlic and other spices made people a bit uncomfortable.

Yesterday, I had dinner at Nihar on the Ganges, and it was a delightful experience overall. The riverside setting created a calm and pleasant atmosphere, perfect for a relaxed evening. I started with the Chicken Steam Momos, which were fresh, soft, and packed with flavorful minced chicken. The spicy chutney served on the side really brought them to life. Next came the Drums of Heaven--crispy, well-marinated, and coated in a rich, tangy sauce. They were easily one of the highlights of the meal. For the main course, I had Chicken Hakka Noodles. The noodles were perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of smokiness and a generous amount of chicken and vegetables. The service was quick and friendly, and the pricing felt reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. I'd definitely consider going back, especially for the momos and that peaceful riverside vibe. I haven't stayed here but I experienced a few rooms from the outside. There is one inhouse cafe at the rooftop. View/Ambience are top notch but the food quality was not as good as the price. I hope, the property owner reads my comment & adjusts the food service line properly.

Very disappointing experience. The food quality was poor, and we had to wait an unreasonably long time just for momos. They even forgot our order, and only served it after we reminded them twice--only to then be told that the other items we ordered were unavailable. On top of that, the cocktails were served warm and not even properly stirred. Definitely not worth the visit.

We had an amazing day at Nihar on the Ganges. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome with their warm and thoughtful hospitality. The Bengali food was absolutely delicious--each dish was rich in flavor and felt like a true celebration of Bengali tradition. We couldn't stop going back for more! The property is beautiful and peaceful, with a calm riverside walk along the Ganga that was the perfect escape. The serene atmosphere and stunning views made it such a relaxing experience. A big thank you to the team for such a memorable and peaceful day. We'll definitely be back!
