Majhdariya Resort

Our booking was 31st dec'24 to 1st jan'25( Group of 23 female friends). The place is huge and looks very nice. But their service and management is not good at all. Maximum people were not get all the item . Worst stuff and Irresponsible management. Not sufficient drinking water bottles. Geyser wasn't working properly. Flush in bathroom wasn't working. Even they didn't provide sufficient blanket to us and the area was much more colder. Mutton wasn't fully cooked. *Most of all one incident was very alarming... On 31st Dec'24 , 3 am at night several time one person knock the door and force to open the door of the rooms. As we have denied, the person given excuse that loby light is on but switch was inside. But how a unknown person knocked at late night and to force for opening the door for a silly reason. That person only knocked our 6 rooms. In the morning when we complained the entire situation to Mr, Nayan (probably the CEO of the company) , he simply denied and taken the matter casually. We also demand for CC Tv footage. But he was simply misbehaved with us. Eventually he told us that anyone from our group did it purposefully for fun. He blamed on us.But how can we (most of us are in their 30s, 40s and 50s ) do such things at 3am winter night . So , hopefully everyone can understand your safety is your responsibility. So, please avoid this place. Thanks.

Hospitality is excellent. Food quality and internal servicing is very good. Rooms are all very nice.

If you want a place which is remote amidst nature and in a proper village then this is your resort. It's very peaceful away from the hustle bustle of city life and you will be amidst greenery. There is a small pond not very clean with fishes. Boating is not happening now due to some reason. Swimming pool works fine and is inside the resort but construction is happening on both sides so be prepared for outside eyes while swimming. Rooms are good well maintained and ac is good. Inverter facility is there in some rooms only so ask since if powercut is there like it happened with us it went from 8 am to 12 pm so without current you will suffer. They have some local dogs roaming inside the resort but they don't disturb you except the constant barking at night especially if some other dogs come on. Staff are helpful generally but getting them on the phone is difficult especially since its spread out and rooms do not have telephone facilities now. They have just installed TVs now in most rooms but its dangling uselessly since no power connectivity is there near tv so they will have to draw power lines there. There is no shops or outlets nearby so bring whatever you need from near the station or else you will be stuck. Food is ok Ok and not priced too high but options are limited. They give 1 towel but it does not soak water properly so carry your own. Soap small 5rs one is given that's it.

1. The behaviour of the staffs and owner is egoistic and unprofessional, as you can see some replies from them on this place and adjacent Majhdaria Village Cottage. They are very rude and harmful. Please don't visit. 2. The place is completely remote, foresty area. It is better to carry weapons 3. Service quality is low 4. Couples are not safe here. Family life is also compromising. I would like to repeat The owner is very very rude, egoistic and unprofessional. They replies in a such manner " You people are not eligible for this place" in case of any grievance.
