COSSIMBAZAR PALACE OF THE ROYS (RAJBARI)

Visited in early April 2025. Awesome experience of staying at such a majestic place which is well preserved by the descendants. Service of all the people around were very nice. Food quality was very homely and delicious, options were limited due to very less number of guests at that time. There was a property tour which very good, so overall experience was such that we would like to stay there again.

We travelled to Murshidabad in December to see some of the historic places there. A google search for a heritage home for our stay, led me to the Palace of the Roy's at Cossimbazaar which is at a slight distance from Murshidabad Station. ||We loved our time at this heritage stay. The place was full of helpful and courteous staff who ensured that our stay was comfortable. A day trip to the points of interest in and around Murshidabad was arranged on request. |The rooms were spacious and comfortable. ||We had the privilege of making our acquaintance with Mr. Pallab Roy, the heart and soul behind this Palace. He is an extremely talented pianist and most graciously regaled any enthusiastic listener with tales of his time and childhood spent in this home. The palace grounds were full of greenery and a well-tended garden. I would love to be back some day and would highly recommend this place.

We stayed at this place for three days, Ot was an amazing experience. The way the owner Mr. Pallab Roy and his very dedicated team are doing a great job to revive the old traditions, giving opportunities to the local people and also reviving the rich heritage of Murshidabad. My whole hearted support to everyone in this property, Well done, keep it up. Fantastic food, hospitality , not to say the whole experience if experiencing heritage and history !! Royal ambience and great hospitality of this palace will make you feel like a royal guest during your stay. The only problem is that available food items are limited and are quite overpriced considering the taste and quantity provided. A menu truly representative of its rich cultural heritage is expected specially from the owners who are also owners of a reputed bakery chain.

It's a beautiful palace with royalty. If you are someone who loves to visit historical places you can visit this property in Cossimbazar. We don't stay here rather we visit the place cum musium in a short duration.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Rajbari for two nights. The property exceeded my expectations in every way. The rooms were spacious, clean with all modern amenities. The staff were courteous, helpful and attentive. Special mention to Manash and Sudipta who were exceptionally respectful and responsive. The included breakfast was delicious with variety of options to suit everyone. We had the pleasure of dining at the hotels restaurant for lunch and dinner on both days. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our requests to make special dishes for us. Food was consistently outstanding. Overall, my stay at the Rajbari was a real pleasure. I highly recommend this stunning palace.

Stayed for 1 night. Had the Rajabhog for lunch. What an elaborate spread and really delicious. Really lovingly and wonderfully restored. The rooms are simply lovely and elegant beyond words. Would like to stay here again.
