The Gingko Eyrie

We, a group of 11 including one child, stayed here for 3 nights in 5 rooms. Our room rates included breakfast. Rooms were all different, some bigger than others and one room had a TV while others didn't. Prices were also different and we think the charges are reasonable. The homestay was really well maintained. Rooms and common areas very clean. Bathrooms were ok but keeping in mind the price point, acceptable. Hot water was available and all rooms had tea/coffee facility. Cupboards were there but no safe for valuables were provided in the rooms. Beds were comfortable. Most importantly the staff attitude were excellent. They answered all our questions with a smile, organized cars for sightseeing plus transfers and upon request adjusted their food serving time. Apart from breakfast, which gets served under the covered section of the lawn, we also took dinner from them. Food was always freshly made and testy. The homestay provides filtered water. Just one point for future guests, this place has number of pet dogs, all of whom were polite and didn't bother us at all, but if someone suffers from some kind of allergy then this point should be kept in mind.|Overall we had a great time while staying here and would recommend this place to anyone who is not looking for something fancy.

I would highly recommend this property to stay in Kalimpong which is in the heart of the town and gives you a walkable access to the best cafes in kalimpong. One of the best homestay experience you would ever have with delicious homemade local cuisines along with best services by the property staffs. Rooms are clean and spacious. I have travelled with my golden retriever kid and people are so helpful to accommodate my kid and just to make sure we would not have any issue with our accomodation. I would be highly grateful to Mary who has ensured we won't have any issue with our stay and made us comfortable with a homely atmosphere.

Nestled in the mountains, The Gingko Eyrie was everything I hoped for. The hosts were warm. With cosy interiors and large windows over looking the valley, we watched the magestic sunrise from our rooms and balcony and our mornings were filled with birds chirping everywhere and sound of the wind was something that healed our mind and soul. Special mention for the meals. Gorkhey breakfast, pan cakes with maple syrup, thalis for lunch, khichdi for dinner, every thing we tried, tastes homely and delicious.

We opted to stay at Gingko Eyrie for a quick trip to Kalimpong and was spellbound by its ambience, location and amazing hosts (including the fur babies, they were so adorable ). Every corner is so thoughtfully decorated that you won't feel like leaving. Very pleased with their hospitality, rooms, food and a picture perfect place to spend quiet and peaceful vacation. Would recommend everyone travelling to Kalimpong to check out this place. All the best Team Gingko!

Stayed here for 3 nights, awesome and beautiful experience. First of all, the view from the home stay is mesmerizing, then a big place to walk, sit in the small cabin outside for hours, and use their food service. Btw food is awesome.. just love it.. all are garden fresh... Rooms are spacious and full of all amenities, they also have a bonfire facility in the evening... A must stay place in Kalimpong at reasonable price.. staffs are very helpful and courteous and friendly...

The place stands true to its claim of being located amidst Mother Nature. Loved our short stay at Gingo Eyrie! Kudos to the host for decking up the place with lovely subtle aesthetics. The Pine Room can be made better a tad bit, but we could see the work in progress. Would love to visit the property again, especially for Sheru and Sheri ( the magestic golden retriever hosts)

This was our second stay at Ginko Eyrie....It was an outstanding experience again. The warmth, the hospitality, food, facilities, service, all are top notch. This time we were a group of eleven family members, we had such a wonderful time. It truly felt like home. Thank you Mary and your amazing team for such a wonderful experience....
