Morgan House Tourism Property

It was wonderful experience at Morgan House Annex building ( Tashiding tourism property). I booked a room with terrace from WB Tourism website . Mr Subhankar Sarker with all other staff were a great . This property was very well maintained.We found the main/ famous morgan house tourism property building was under renovation and it may take few more months to bring back in it original look.Food was very good . I would say that this property is little bit at far distance from main market . So you must carry some common medicine and some common item with you in case of sudden requirement. Though you avail running car / cab in share( in minimum cost) to reach the main market and you may get share taxi / car while returning from main market. Otherwise if you are looking for peaceful stay in less crowded area you can choose this place .Room price were moderate and free Wi-Fi facility was there.

Morgan house cottages are located at an excellent location with good rooms and good service. Breakfast and dinner served to us were fresh and nicely cooked. The place is very peaceful with lots of greenery and birds chirping around the yard. Would love to visit here again

The stay at Morgan house property was just awesome. It's a place all mountain lovers should stay at atleast once in their lifetime. The courtesy of the staff was fab..... But the main attraction is the environment which will make you fall in love with the place again and again

A warm and lovely experience , especially Mr Suvankar Sarkar did an amazing job maintaining the beauty of service. The rooms in the new bungalow were first class with well served food. Never thought that the government would do such a good job at the hotel business.

The location of the property is beyond exceptional and exactly as expected and described by many. Had a wonderful view of Kanchenjunga from the property! After a very early booking, the unavailability of the original Morgan house was a bit disappointing, but the readjustment of the accommodation for our big group of 13 people including several senior citizens was handled very well. Kudos and thanks to Ms. Rama for this. During the stay, the new Tasiding bungalow was not entirely equipped with missing racks, latches and bathroom fittings and we were the first occupants. The manager was a bit unapologetic about it. Also he had shown enough inflexibility when we requested for a very simple adjustment for our meal - saying the government rules are inflexible His attitude needs to be corrected. Apart from that the food and the hospitality of the rest of the staffs were excellent. A very pleasant stay overall!

We had a very good experience while staying at Morgan house Annexure building. The main Morgan house is under renovation now, so we stayed at Morgan house Annexure building, which is just next to Morgan house. It's a nice property with spacious rooms. Food was good and location was awesome, just opposite to golf course. The stuff are very helpfull and well behaved. Mr Shubhankar, who is the manager of the property, is going a great job. He is always helpful, starting from booking procedure until checkout. Overall, excellent experience.

Heard some great reviews of this place, which has stood right from the British era. It's still being used as a hotel, property for tourism and is undertaken by the WB Gov. The property is under renovation, hopefully it will be ready for bookings as soon as possible.

Tried for morgan house, but that was under renovation.. got the chance at Tashiding.. Excellent stay on 10th March. Stayed in the room that's with attached terrace and other room opposite to that. View was awesome, location and maintenance was up to the mark.. food was stupendous.. .. Nothing to complain.. The manager Subhankar was always ready for help.. Will come back again
