Hotel Kalash

Beware of this scmar, I did check in on 14/04/2025 evening 6'oclock , When I ask Receptionist NAWSHAD AHMED for Room tarriff he told me 800Rs per day ,Emidetly I did my documents prosess & Advance 500rs in cash , We r 2 adults 1kid , 2 day's I stay , Today 16/04/2015 at 11 o'clock Check out, When I ask for bill this guy told me to Pay 3600 For 2days , He jast forcefully told me to pay this amount,He say I'm wrong I did not lesen properly , I was in Hurry so I can do anything, simply pay this asking amount and com.

Bathroom was not clean, kind of smelly and toilet flushes was broken. You can see the sewage pipes coming from the top floor passing through your bathroom. Rooms are not clean and kind of smelly. No supply of soaps and other stuffs. They charged us too much for this.

Been there with my family ...would recommend anyone to go for the deluxe 3X room as it has one of the most beautiful views overlooking the Mela Ground and Tibetan church. This establishment is conveniently located on Rishi Rd, the main road of the town with an ATM just opposite the street. Love the atmosphere and community although I must admit the shops on the main road are tourist traps. Venturing further away you will eventually find places which are well hidden away. Here the locals eat and their food is excellent . I did order food in the hotel and I'll just say it's ok. The momos were delightful but the idlis were cold and hard to the touch. The guy in the reception was very kind and generous. Room service was an issue because nobody was turning up. Nevertheless I had an enjoyable stay and would love to visit this town again.

The rates seems to be quite expensive compared to quality. Services are way too slow. Don't expect them to serve breakfast before 10.30-11am. So if you have plans to go out early and already paid for the breakfast in advance, you are doomed. Geyser and television was not working in the room I stayed in. There are no ceiling fans in non-ac rooms. Overall I felt they have a lot of work to do.

Went for lunch with my husband and son. Ordered a thali and momos. Worst in terms of cleanliness. No tissues on table, no water served. Gave maida rotis in thali. Dirty tables, stinky and pathetic washroom, no handle on wash basin tap, added by the rude behaviour of lady who own it.

Stay was good, it right on the main road. Hotel does not have it own parking but had to park on the road which is open for parking for everyone. Best thing happened was we reached hotel in late night, hence could manage to grab parking spot for our vehicle. If we had reached in day time, we couldn't have managed to find a spot to park. So checkin late in night to get parking space for your car !! ;)

I have stayed at this hotel. The hotel rooms are decent and the location is perfect. Just behind the main bus stand where we can get transportation to nearby places and get tourist vehicles as well. the view from the terrace is very nice. I would recommend this hotel to every type of traveller. The retaurant in the ground floor serves good vegetarian food at decent price.

Good place to stay when visiting kalimpong. Neat and clean rooms. But room service is very bad. No one responses quickly. You have to ask for 4 or 5 times for having something done. Although the manager who work here at morning time is very helpful. But never book this hotel or any hotel in kalimpong through oyo app. They already break their tie ups with oyo. Even if you pay the amount to stay at any hotel in kalimpong through oyo, you will not get any room here. Be careful. Thanks.
