Deolo Mist - A Boutique Mountain Hotel

What a great hotel! Excellent service with friendly staff who provided a personal touch and went above and beyond taking a lot of pride in the service they provided, particularly the food. They catered to our vegetarian needs and went off menu - every night was a bit of a treat to see what we got! We had a lot of fun at the hotel and tried out some of the activities - the hotel has badminton rackets, a carrom table, mini table football, kids books and yoga mats. There's lots of paragliding on offer nearby if that's your thing. The location is quiet and away from the main road - it was silent at night! The rooms were v. clean and the views from the balcony across the mountains are spectacular. It's a great starting spot to explore the surrounding forest and see local wildlife. Kalimpong is about a 500 rupees / 15 mins cab ride away. Definitely worth a visit.

Excellent, Paisa vasool stay here, 180 degree view of kanchanjunga as well as valley from balcony. Manager Mr.Thapa treated me as a friend. All other staff members are well behaved. Good veg.food ( as per my choice ) was prepared by the CHEF. Wanted to stay more but was bound by my return journey booking.

It was a wonderful time I have spent in Deolo Mist Hotel. I have no complain about anything. View from the hotel is amazing like heaven . Service I have got in this hotel was too good. The hotel Owner and the Manager including staffs they are very down to earth and friendly . All together I must recommend my friend and family to come enjoy the place and beauty .

Peaceful Retreat with Breathtaking Views - But Food Needs Improvement I recently stayed at Deolo Mist - A Boutique Mountain Hotel, and it was a truly serene experience. Located about 8 km from the main Kalimpong market, the hotel sits atop the picturesque Deolo Hill, right next to Deolo Park. While the area is quite isolated with no shops or markets nearby, the peacefulness and natural beauty more than make up for it. The view from the hotel is absolutely mesmerizing - from the balcony, you get an unhindered panoramic frame of the Teesta River all the way to the majestic Kanchenjunga. It's a rare treat to enjoy such tranquility, with the only sound being the chirping of birds. The rooms are excellent, equipped with all modern amenities. Both the room and the bathroom were spotless and well-maintained, making the stay very comfortable. However, the food was the biggest downside. It was below average in taste, with very small portions and unreasonably high prices. Since the hotel is far from the market, there aren't any other dining options nearby, which makes this even more disappointing. The complimentary breakfast, which included just puri and sabzi, didn't meet expectations either. Overall, if you're looking for peace, natural beauty, and a great stay away from the city's hustle - this hotel is a great pick. But if food is an important part of your travel experience, you might want to come prepared or set your expectations accordingly.

Had a great stay at Deolo mist hotel. All the stuffs are very polite to the guests, specially the manager Kushal Thapa is an alrounder to take care about all the boarders. I strongly recomend all the tourists to choose this hotel for their cool stay. It looks like a three star hotel at a best price.

If you are looking for a tranquil getaway from city hustles, it's a must visit. My entire family had so much fun while enjoying clear & pristine view of Mount Kanchenjunga from our balcony. Great food, excellent Hospitality and value for money!!!

Deolo Mist is a small cozy property with an unhindered view of the mountains . Also the location is high on the hills and is away from the rush of the town. The best part of the property is the courteous staff who go the extra mile to make you feel at home. We were really delighted when the staff brought in a cake and played guitar to celebrate my husband's birthday. I would recommend the place to everyone.
