Beautiful place in the middle of the tea gardens in Kalej valley. This place is as off the beaten route as you can get. The rooms are very good, and plenty of varieties of rooms to choose from. Excellent food, very good service. They even have a swimming pool for the slightly warmer summers.

This is a homestay located within Kalej Valley tea estate. Beautiful location with excellent view of the mountains. Spread on the slope of the mountain and made of mostly wood and iron with very little cement structures. The walkways inside the property are very nice. The dining hall is also beautiful, made of mostly bamboo. Food is standard with limited variety. Staff are very customer friendly and helpful. The owner, Mr. Simon is also very helpful. The rainbow falls is about 2.5 km from this homestay, out of which 1.5 km could be traveled by vehicle and 1 km by walking trail. Senior citizens, especially with heart or leg ailments, should avoid this trail.

Wonderful experience! The ambient atmosphere is a bonus. Good place to enjoy with friends and family. They offer quality food and facilities. Rainbow waterfall is very near from this resort. I visited on the Christmas Eve. I must thank all the staffs of the resort and the owner of the resort is a true gentleman. I have one suggestion though.. they should provide one electric kettle in every room.

It's an out of this world place. Serene nature all around. It's so peaceful. Weather is lovely. Mr Simon in whose resort... Rainbow Valley resort we stayed for two days was exceptional in his taking care of guests. Must location.

Visited rangbul in mid-october and stayed here for a night. This property,rainbow valley resort, is located at a quiet yet picturesque landscape. Being a travel enthusiast i have visited many places especially in north bengal..but this time my experience here has topped all of my previous ones..where do i start..it's an perfect example of the saying "difficult roads often leads to a beautiful destination". The property has an amazing view of the hills which is refreshing. A beautiful backyard with nice seating areas where u can chill with friends. Rooms and bathrooms are neat and tidy. Want to appreciate all of the kitchen staffs and the owner for their amazing hospitality. Every meal that we had were so delicious and homely. Loved the dining space too. The whole property is so beautifully decorated. The beautiful kalej valley tea garden and so many trees are all around. You don't wanna miss their bamboo chicken and barbeque. Add to that they have good wifi connectivity, a parking space(we went by bikes) inside the property. Some of our friends went by rented car which the owner guided us to arrange. The next morning we trekked for 45mins to reach the nearby rainbow aka indrani falls, which is by the way one of the main attraction of kalej valley. All in all we had so much fun and comfort here and all thanks to them for offering such commendable service.

A gem hidden amidst the Kalej Valley. If the gorgeous landscape isn't enough to convince you of visiting this lovely place, then the hospitality certainly will. Beautiful resort, all relevant facilities available and the bonfire was a nice surprise!
