Banalata Resort

This resort is so captivating for us there have a culture of village type you can say that is so magnificent for our new generation. There have natural beauty and there have many types of animals and birds. There's ambiance is too good. In my point of view that place is my favourite place where have a lot of memories.

Nothing to be liked. Waste of money. Manager were rude . Food quality is poor and room service is disgusting. They do not wash utensils. Also nothing to enjoy around. Will suggest you to avoid this resort. We have booked 8 deluxe rooms but all normal and super deluxe rooms were same. They blackmail us for the money.

An excellent Resort in the midst of Jaypur Forest, Bankura...The Resort is unique, the food they serve is mainly organic and from fishes to Eggs of Ostrich, Emu and Meats are all locally grown and supplied.. The food is very tasty...my suggestion, pls try their posto bora, Vetki Paturi wrapped uniquely in Sal leaves, Katla fish kalia from their own pond and last but not the least their Rosogolla... The cook is good and you can feel the taste and aroma in every bite...

Food quality is good. Not stayed there, hence not able to comment on rooms, though they are very attractive and maintained from outside. They are trying to help local peoples to generate income by associating with the property, which is a good thing and win win situation for all. Since most of the food materials are grown within there own unit, foods are testy.

The place is over hyped, amenities are basic and not maintained in a professional way. The normal bengali cuisine is good but other preparation lacks the taste of original dishes. The staff are not bothered about the feedback of the customers nor they are adequately trained to handle it professionally. The local women employees are mostly exploited as the resources are in abundance. The home products like sweets and curds testify quality and menu card has got wide range of options to choose from although they taste average. The farming of flowers and other organic vegetables is really wonderful and serves as an additional interest for the guests of the resort. Spending a night halt or a leisure day out trip at the resort is good enough for the urban crowd with children and pets. Last but not the least the management should really take care of the swarms of house fly present every where be it the restaurant or the balcony outside the room where people are supposed to have their lunch or dinner. Immediate use of fly catchers at these areas to be incorporated to facilitate the guests a hygienic and clean environment.

Bonolota Resort is a beautiful place with a fantastic location -- surrounded by nature, peaceful, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The environment and scenery are definitely the highlights, and I absolutely loved it. The services and food, however, are just okay -- not bad, but not exceptional either. If you're looking for a stunning location and a calm atmosphere, this place won't disappoint. Overall, it's worth visiting for the beauty of the place alone! Rating: (4/5)

We have enjoyed 2 hours there. I guess the best time to visit is winter because they grow different flower plants at that time. Now talking about food, we ordered veg thali and duck curry, they don't repeat anything next time which was quite shocking. They charged extra rice also. Duck curry was delicious. Overall it's a nice place to hang out for a day.

The resort is big and have lots of flowers and vegetable garden inside it. Looks beautiful in winter. However the rooms are expensive and looks very ordinary. I feel there is much less privacy as outsiders having restaurant foods can access the whole resort and cottages which I don't prefer as a guest. Good for a day outing
