Poor maintenance and service in Ruby Boarding. Bathroom needs major maintenance. Room no 21 is nightmare. Very bad experience..

An old but popular hotel. Also cheap. But if you want a single room with attached bathroom, don't take the room on the top floor. That one room is hot as hell. All the other rooms are fine.

It is one of the oldest restaurant in the town of Jalpaiguri,West Bengal. If you are looking for authentic Bengali dishes and happen to be in the town, give it a try. Cost for 2 person will be around rs500 . Restaurant maintain hygiene very well and serves food in traditional bronze (kaaNsaa) plate.

One of the best hotel in Jalpaiguri ever I stayed. But there are some young staff ,one of them threatening me for the last 2 days, misbehaves with me. Otherwise their manager, and others staffs are very much good. Request to the authorities of Ruby Boarding to notice the young staff's behavior and correct it to maintain the Traditional Reputation of the Hotel. * Some misunderstanding happened with the staff on 07.04.21, and he continued threats me, the Manager also warn him but he ferociously misbehaves with me.

Always craving to eat on this heritage Bengali pice hotels ; had lunch with my father sometimes in my child days at Jalpaiguri. Now coming back to jpg after quite some days , just have it mind that I have to go & eat there. And see Ruby boarding never disappoints .
