Barsana Hotel & Restaurant

The behavior of the restaurant staff was disappointing. I was ignored for 10-15 minutes, and when they finally handed me the menu, I was shocked by the extremely high prices. To make matters worse, the items I wanted to order were not even available. Thankfully, I didn't end up spending any money. I can't comment on the rooms as I only visited the restaurant. However, charging 50 for a cup of tea is excessive-- even in Bhutan, it costs only 25-30. To the management of Barsana: please consider being more reasonable with your pricing. Greed shouldn't come before customer satisfaction

The room was super clean, and there was hot water too. The decor really matched the vibe of being on the India-Bhutan border, which added a nice touch. The receptionist and staff were incredibly kind--they even helped arrange a car for me after checkout. Plus, there's a restaurant downstairs where you can enjoy some delicious Bhutanese food.

Good place with excellent location just opposite to the Bhutan Gate in Phuentsholing. Tasty food, clean rooms with clean linens. Definitely recommended

Wonderful experience. All staff are very cooperative specially Miss Muskaan at reception. Rooms are also hygiene and well furnished. Quality of food amazing.

First stay was as expected but upon second stay (leaving Bhutan) we had some issues - Very pushy about getting a Google review upon check-in, staff would not allow me to just put my bags down first and insisted I do it in front of them - One of our rooms had some egg shells and feathers spread in the bed and around the room. Originally refused to address this, saying sometimes birds get in the room and 'that it's no problem', after an argument we got a room change - general cleanliness is bad, walls are dirty and sheets often stained. Shower constantly dripping. AC was loud in my room and I had to ask to get it and the hot water turned on for my room. Hot water runs out fast no matter how long you wait for it to heat Overall not the worst experience for the price but good to be aware Location is fantastic and bottom floor restaurant is quite alright. Staff are quite friendly and professional minus the issues I mentioned
