The Ashoka Hotel

In this hotel stay & food is adorable type. During this staying, staff every time asking tips & spoil ur mindset.

Good ambience, perfect location for Howrah station and city of Kolkata. Clean room with in room service like laundry,food,drinks, housekeeping. Bathroom is western type with sufficient lighting and mirrors. Only drawback i think,the staff behaviour.They are humble and polite but in every service they ask for tipping with minimum basic services what is there duty.

Stayed at this hotel for official purpose. The Rooms are decent but the service quality is horrible. Staff behaviour is also not welcoming but they know people don't have many options in this part of city. Cleanliness is below par.

Poor management Very Poor service Worst experience These guys will not take GST no. At the time of check in and at the time of check out they will forget to enter it. They take the payment daily but they don't provide food bills at the time of check out. Hotel management should take action against the persons who are working at 5 am at reception. They are spoiling the name of Hotel. These guys are manner less and they don't know that at the time of check out they have to enter GST number and also forgot to give all food bills at time of check out

The hotel staff are fraud...We stayed in room 304 where the AC was not working and after charging for the room when we entered the room and complained about AC, the staff made us wait for 6 hours till 1 Am and said that the AC won't work and they were not even willing to shift us to a different room...They even charged us full amount and not refunded us any penny. Would not recommend staying in this hotel as the service is very poor and the staff are all fraud. The room even had cockroaches all over the place

The are sarveis boy per oder tips ask to Kastomar, this hotel is not for family I feel, honey mon n new copals for good

worst experience ever , stay in road but never stay here. They don't even provide bills on time while checkout. Always begging for tips. Not suggesting for you guys. If there will be be negative rankings I will opt for it.

Beaware ! Its not a family hotel. And staff is extremly rude. And i hope people understand what i mean.
