For students rooms are good. For couples not perfect. Brought your own lock for room and aware for Rent. Water supply for bathing is not too good. You can find a room upto 1500 then this place is good.

Prices were steeply fixed at Rs. 900 for a room with attached toilet (they have their rates displayed behind the reception). The ones for 500-700 were with no toilets. I went for the 900 which was a double bed. Tried bargaining but to no avail. However, I did notice the manager offering a 700 room for 600 to another customer who was bargaining. In that sense I didn't like the manager's attitude towards me - especially considering that I was going for sole occupancy. Hence the lower rating. They have only Indian toilets as its a 55 year old building. English toilets were only available in common bathrooms. They have plenty of staff to take care of your needs like laundry (Rs. 60 for jeans shirt/pant pair) and food service (they only charge 10 extra on food bill). They provide with tap water bottle, which I believe is from RO. The room was very neat and clean and so was the toilet. Parking is right oppsite the hotel entrance in the small lane. They charge Rs 100 per day for parking. Overall good at this price. Near Howrah Railway Station (500m). They won't extend your checkout by even 30 minutes. Rooms not quiet as the lodge is in road side.

Very Good lodge and the manager is really helpful. Rooms and toilets are clean enough and they also provide filtered drinking water. This is one of the cheapest lodge but still very good to stay for some days. Single bed room-400/day. There are various restaurants around the lodge from where you can easily get your required food. Network coverage is also good in this lodge. Overall you can go there without any hesitation.
