Akash Hotel Howrah

Rooms are very clean and service is good, Locality not expected level. Rooms very spacious, toilets are clean and water heater provided each Rooms. Near by 3 min walk Balaji Bhavan is there get south Indian food. Hotel Management very friendly approach.

Here, people are being scammed in the name of hotel rooms. I booked a room for 1350, and it was the biggest mistake of my life. The hotel staff gave me a room, but its condition was terrible. The pillow and bed had a disgusting smell of sweat, and the floor was extremely dirty. They had an old box-type TV without any channels. The washroom was also very very dirty with dirty buckets and wash basin is also dirty On top of that, their menu card had ridiculously high prices--a single cup of tea cost 35! My experience at Akash Hotel was absolutely awful. And when I checked out the next day, one of their shameless workers even asked me for a tip, even though I had only booked a room and didn't take any help or talk to anyone. It was a terrible experience at Hotel Akash. If you are thinking of booking a room near Howrah Station, you are better off choosing a guest house instead.

Third class hotel would be an understatement, rooms are extra small, pathetic and rude staff, fish market lies right in front of hotel which makes everything even worst. If you want to have the worst experience in your life you must book this property.

Final Words: This hotel is completely third class and a total waste of money. I have never seen such poor service, maintenance, and hygiene in any hotel before. Please avoid staying here -- you'll regret it! ~Monazir(tm)

I have recently visited this akash hotel and my experience was very bad . 1) behaviour of hotel staff was too rude. 2) room was not properly cleaned, bedsheet was too dirty. I h'v complain to change and they said , white bedsheet hai gandha tou dikhaga hi. 3) bathroom smell like public toilet 4)food price was also too high at hotel compare to near by restrurent. 5)water given by hotel taste was like tap water. 6)with all bad service, after going for checkout one of hotel staff was asking for tips. no shame on there face. (my only suggestion for you guys {who ever visiting howrah }that there are too many hotel near by on walking distance you rather vist there)

Excellent hotel with all amenities. It is a centrally located hotel to reach easily everywhere. Stonethrow distance from Howrah Railway Station.

I am a traveller n visited like every cities of India..but trust me I have never expected this much pathetic experience..staffs are like uneducated illiterate n there the most useless person was the manager himself..you get out of the hotel and the smell of fish market going to kill you Wow !!! I am again editing this review because after posting it I got abusive calls from that manager asking me about the reviews . I can gurentee every single person that all the positive reviews those are present are either friends for them or paid . Prefer your death over going to that hotel !! And I mean it !!!
