Sundarban Tiger Roar Resort - Resort in Sundarban

Visited Tiger Roar Resort in April 2025 with family for a 3-day, 2-night package -- and it was a truly memorable experience. The resort is beautifully located amidst the calm of the Sundarbans, and the hospitality was top-notch. Special thanks to Mr. Basu Rao, our tour manager, who was extremely friendly, caring, and well-experienced -- he made sure everything ran smoothly. The boat safaris were the highlight -- we spotted deer, wild boars, and a variety of beautiful birds. The food was delicious and homely, and we especially enjoyed the evening cultural programs organized by the locals -- a lovely touch that added to the charm of the trip. Highly recommended for families and nature lovers looking to explore the real beauty of Sundarban with comfort and care!

Being off season, we were the only guests. Yet the team in Hotel took care of us well. Room was comfortable. The lawns were maintained well. Food was okay and took care of our requirements. We were vegetarians and I requested the hotel to arrange different items for the three days instead of serving potato and paneer in each menu. They obliged by serving different items. The Resort Manager Mr. Sukanta, a calm and caring person, accompanied us in the boat for three days. We had the luxury of having a full boat for our family. The cultural programs were good. Met another gentleman employed with the Hotel , Mr.Rao, who also seemed to be a friendly guy. Overall, no regrets in making this tour in off season.

Booked a package for 6 people - 4 adults, 2 kids in March' 2025. The tour was of 3 days 2 night, Science city to Science city tour, including food and sightseeing, Safari. Mr. Basu Rao was allocated as tour manager. Tiger Roar Resort managed the tour extremely good, and in a very professional way. 100% satisfied and happy about the tour. Mr. Basu was very helpful and always with a smile on his face. Mr. Basu explained information related to local life in World's largest delta region, jungle and its features , also he helped by arranging all necessary things. Food was great through out the tour, for any special diet you can inform them in advance. Both nights local dance music was arranged at the resort. Rooms of resort are in good condition, AC and geyser working perfectly. The ferry vessel allocated to us MV Debendra 2 was in very good condition, clean, ample space to sit on deck and watch animals. Definitely will recommend Tiger Roar Resort to my friends and family members.

Had a very warm experience in the overall trip. The team from the beginning seemed thoroughly professional and man did they deliver during the trip. What stands out!?? The food n hospitality. What to watch out for? The boat safari with majestic views evenly breaked by montonous harmony! Thank you Tiger Roar team u guys hv definitely motivated me to plan another outing!

The accommodation was excellent though the TV was missing. The shower system should be upgraded to provide hot water showers also. Food was excellent too. Not very oily or spicy. Spotting tigers requires a whole lot of luck but we spotted crocodiles , deer, wild boars............ Mother nature was really bountiful in serenity and oneness. Overall experience demands a second visit.

We stayed at the resort for two nights and we absolutely loved our stay. Each and every person was exceptionally and they couldn't do enough for us. We loved being with Basu. We had so much fun with him on the boat and his service was 10 star. Such a lovely man. Thank you Basu for making our trip so amazing. Best of luck and God bless you

From the hotel pick up and drive to the boat we were treated like special guest. A very kind guide oversaw every detail. The boat crew were so upbeat and helpful.|Each night of the stay was special entertainment. Our touring of the islands were perfect for nature lovers. The guide was knowledgeable of the area and pointed out every aspect of the islands. We saw beautiful birds and deer. My favorite was the Macaw monkeys playing on the beach.

Very good food and extremely friendly staff. We organized tour of Jungle boat safari. Basu is a wonderful person to support you throughout your stay. Rooms are OK, little improvement is required in washrooms. Overall it was a wonderful experience.....
