Hotel East Coast in Haldia, located in Durgachak, is a well-known establishment with a long history, but unfortunately, it shows signs of age and lack of maintenance. The rooms are old and not well-maintained, with cleanliness being an issue. Similarly, the bathrooms are outdated and in poor condition, which detracts from the overall experience. The service at the hotel is notably slow, with staff lacking professionalism and responsibility towards addressing guest concerns. This lack of attentiveness impacts the overall stay, leaving many guests dissatisfied. As for the food, the quality does not match the price. While breakfast is offered, it is not a buffet, which is surprising given the cost of staying at the hotel. A complimentary buffet should have been provided, given the pricing expectations. There is a FL (Foreign Liquor) bar for those looking for alcohol, which could be a convenience for some guests. Overall, while the hotel has a rich history, it requires significant improvements in both maintenance and service to meet modern hospitality standards.

This is a very old hotel of Haldia, it's like a asset to Haldia. The hotel is good but personally I didn't like their food so much. According to me as Haldia has very limited places for dine in that's why people comes here. Otherwise high priced food with such quality won't work for long time.

The experience of stay was very bad. The cleanliness of the room was poor. The blanket cover was dirty. Used towel with many black spots was given. The walls of the room was found shabby. The wash room was not cleaned before allotting the room to a new customer. It's commode was used and dirty. Used washing shops (without wrapper) were kept in the wash room. Instead of providing mineral water, the drinking water was given in a shabby plastic bottle. Very few option for breakfast.

Food is delicious....Service is also good.

Professional hotel but few lackings like breakfast timmings are too early thn also house keeping knocks u betwn 10-10.30 even if you are continuing thats annoying sometimes. reception and security and housekeeping all are friendly n co operative.

Hotel East Coast is situated at Durgachawk, Haldia. This is a hotel cum family restaurant and bar.. The food quality is very good.. You must try fish finger and chicken bhuna.. Both starter are highly recommended. They serve fish finger with mayonnaise. The taste of mayonnaise is so yummy, I generally don't like mayonnaise but I felt love with this after taste this.. The price of the dishes are very reasonable.. The staffs and their behaviour is very polite. Overall experience is very good..

Hotel is in good location price is little high as compare to the things available. The normal AC room is 2000 foods are good breakfast is complimentary you have enough choice. Food is expensive as compare to The quality. Lift is available a bar and a restaurant is in the ground floor where food is given. Ro as well minrel paid Water is available for person. Laundry service is available on demand
