United-21 Resort Sunderbans

In this location this hotel is best. Rooms are spacious, neat and clean. Breakfast and meals are provided by other service provider which was our part of contract. The hotel has very good ambiance and very near to ferry ghat.The hotel provides free wi fi.

Highly recommend this place if u r visiting sundarban. The hospitality is old fashioned and extremely warm to say the least. A amazing staff very warm hearted n always greeted us with smile n open arms without even frowning for a bit. All the amenities provided were beyond our expectations. They made special arrangements for us with sound boxes n fingerlicking good food starting from fried fish pakora chicken mutton to arranging local tribal dance. The rooms were pretty big neat n clean n well furnished with A.c. and fans and geyser in restrooms.We had a ball of a time and the resort gave us a feeling of being at home. The most amazing part of the stay was the happiness n contentment with which we all left the place.Thankyou verymuch...will surely come back again:-)

A place to sleep in - that is all. Was booked in this as "deluxe" category by a tour operator dealing with Sundarban cruises. The resort has few "cottages" which are basically tiny independent rooms. The washroom is rather spacious, with geyser. The room itself is miniscule with hardly no space for movement or even sitting. The "resort" has no functional kitchen - so even a cup of tea is not available. Walk out to the quaint, rather charming rural market outside the resort and have your cup of tea. No food is available in the market or in the "resort." Your tour operator will cook food in the boat or launch, and deliver it to you - time can be anything. Control your hunger pangs, eat whatever cold food is provided to you and go to sleep. As I said, this friggin' "resort" is just a place to sleep in.

We had booked AC cottages but had to choose rooms since they were better maintained. An average resort. Can be good if maintained well in all aspects. The rooms,linen were very clean and people were extremely helpful and that's the only reason this stay was ok. Had to ask for some fresh linen but it was provided immediately with a smile. Resort kitchen was non operational so the food was brought from elsewhere...ample variety and it was delicious all the same. Tribal dance organized was fantastic. May not be good for families with kids, round the clock needs and senior folks. They organized boat, food on the boat etc and all was done well. Now Sundarban timings are such that you don't get to see tigers or any other wild life. Birds were chirping on Pakhiralay island where the resort is.

I had booked this hotel from 1-Jan-18 to 3-Jan-18 for group of 7 member of my family . We had been received with pleasant smile. We had booked 2 rooms one is of 4 bed and another is of 3 bed . We were given one 4 bedded room in 1st floor and 3 bedded room in 2nd floor. We wanted two of our rooms to be in same floor. To my pleasant surprise without any question asked or charging any extra money manager immediately allowed us to occupy two 4 bedded room in same floor. ||||Food was normal homely food . you have walk down to restaurant . Not so high quality restaurant but touch of staff is homely They cook food as per your choice and advice . ||||Hot water was running 24x7 . No electricity cut . I travelled in winter , so A/C was not required. ||Very clean rooms , no mosquito , no fly though it is in Sundarban area .||||Property is just few minutes walking from Pakhiralaya Island. ||||Food prepared during the sightseeing in the United-21 boat was awesome . The guide was provided by United 21 , simple yet knowledgeable . He tried his level best to get us a glimpse of Tiger. Luck was not in our side. But we saw croc, boar, deer and variety of birds apart from many flora and fauna.||||Pleasant trip wish come back in United 21 again...

I recommend United 21 for the warm hospitality of the staff and well planned arrangements. The manager Surajit did a fantastic job in organizing the whole trip perfectly starting from private traveller, private boat, private dance floor and music set up with private operator, private garden party set up, good sightseeing, great meals and snacks as whatever we demanded and comfortable rooms. Each and every aspect of the tour was flawless. But most importantly which touched my heart is the behavior and manners of the staff and we felt like home, special mention to Amit and Soumen.

We stayed her for 2 nights, 3 days, resort is very unhygienic .they dint change the blanket covers ,it was very dirty. Had broken bowls to serve the food.||||Toilets were worst than public toilets.||Go at your own risk.||||I totally regret to stay there.||Chai was served as a station yes full of water.||||Dint like the service at all,only one or two staff was little helpful.

Room was cozy, Staffs were hospitable and courteous, amicable and professional. Food was too good. In fact staffs served customized food as per our request. Will recommend to friends and families. Great experience overall. Will surely come back again. Thanks a lot!!
