Royal Bengal Resort - Sundarban

Good resort ... very big indeed with 87 rooms.. rooms are found clean and staff behavior were also good. Not for physically challanged..there are stair cases right from the beginning..wheelchair is not accessible. So if you are bringing some elderly, please keep this in mind. Big hall, garden for corporate or small parties... overall good

Budget friendly place, courteous service. Good for short trips.Remote location .Large resort with basic facilities. Mobile connectivity inside the rooms is sporadic, need to come outside. Convenient location to visit the various Tiger Reserve locations.

Royal bengal resort is located at dayapur in Sundarban district. We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed the environment. Rooms are great specially the balcony view. I would recommend the resort to anyone who wants to enjoy peaceful environment and avoid city chaos.

The hotel is situated in Dayapur island , the hotel is just adjacent to the jetty , the island is not densely populated like pakhiralay island , so if one prefer calm and tranqulity after spending entire day in boat floating in different rivers of Sundarban with a hope to view tigers, crocodile and other wild lives, the calmness may help to comeout from fustration.|You will not find any room service, though rooms are spacious, hot water is available, electric kettle is aviaolabke but no tea bags , teas are costlyso better to carry your own tea/ coffee sacet

It is situated at Dayapur island, opposite of Sajnekhali Sanctuary, near Pakhiralaya island. Rooms are great, all the amenities were present like AC, Geyser, Water supply, Power back up, etc. Not sure about wifi though. Multiple dining halls are available. A nice, quiet place to stay for a great vacation.

We had stayed 2 nights with a tour operator. The resort is well spaced out overlooking the river. Views from rooms and balcony is good. Rooms ar decent in size but lacks maintenance and housekeeping is very poor ( with old stained bed linens etc). Staff is I'll trained and totally unprofessional. Someone woke me up at 7AM and insisted that i pay 90 for few cups of tea. I told i will settle while checking out but he rudely insisted. Another day although having key for a room for an entire day, they didn't clean the room. Breakfast that's served is ok but they don't maintain proper heating of food.

Enjoyed to the fullest in this property. Hell lot of open space. With 2 ponds of their own. Ample amount i mean more than ample amount of air and light. Very clean property. And the rooms themselves are very clean and the stuffs. Oh my god they are really friendly. Hope to see you soon again
