If you are planning a trip to Darjeeling and you prefer a homestay that can match the comfort of a hotel, this is the place to go. Nestled in the lower portion of Tiger Hill (near the famous Ghum Railway Station), the homestay offers many unique advantages, few of which are as follows: - 1. Location - The homestay is located very near to the famous Sunrise point (a major attraction) of Tiger Hill, Darjeeling. In case you are a bit lethargic and do not want to wake up too early and fight your way up to the crowded Sunrise point (extremely crowded at times), you can just enjoy an equally breathtaking view of the sunrise right from the roof of the homestay which provides a panoramic view of the valley. In my case, this advantage itself was paramount for choosing the homestay. 2. Food - They provide really good food at a really affordable price. Basically, lip-smacking taste without upsetting the tummy or the budget. Indeed they were kind enough to encourage us to choose our own menu and myself being a vegetarian, they took complete care of my food habits and requirements. 3. Car parking - This is one of the most difficult aspects of tourism in Darjeeling. If you are someone like me, who drives his own, you will find Darjeeling difficult to enjoy, since there is scarcity of parking. But this homestay has enough space to park a car, albeit on the road. But it is safe. I was there for three nights and faced no issues at all. 4. It lets you unwind - Since the homestay is a little far from the hustle bustle of mainland Darjeeling, you can really unwind in the quiet, sipping a cup of hot tea/coffee & enjoying the scenic views of the valley. Basically all I can say is that the overall aura of the homestay is very positive and they make you feel like family. Travellers like me, treasure these aspects the most. If you belong to this category, this might be the perfect destination for you.

Chose this location as it is very near to Tigerhill sunrise observatory and saves morning time. Though the location is peaceful, it is little away from the main Darjeeling city and requires reserved Taxi for every commute, Views from the rooftop are awesome. The room was good with clean linen. The walls are wooden with clear Varnish paint, which was smelling. The washroom was clean and hygienic with all facilities. They served excellent home cooked food with great hospitality. Overall a great place to stay. Would definitely like to visit again.

It's an excellent homestay where you will find all the facilities with reasionable price. I recommend this homestay to all my friends.... very clean, yummy homemade food and great hospitality.

Perfect place for those looking for a peaceful homestay! Cozy rooms, yummy homemade food provided. Terrace had an open, breathtaking view, that of Kanchenjunga and other hills around. Overall a great experience. :)
