I would say it is One of the best Homestay ..its affordable and the owners treated us as their own family members they are sweet and welcome ;) Highly recommended

The stay was really nice. The owner of the property is very friendly and guided us in a lot of things especially related to the sight seeing and getting a nice taxi. He even took the pain and guided us regarding our stay in gangtok. For tourists like us , he is the guy we need. Kudos to him and all his staff for this memorable stay at darjeeling. I strongly recommend this home stay for a great experience at darjeeling Hope we meet again.

It's a great place to stay. Location is very beautiful and close to nature. The homestay is very well maintained. Owner bhaiya, aunty and care taker Ayush was extremely friendly & co-operative. Home cooked food, the authentic thukpa and thaipo was yummy. We were 5 members and shared 1 room with a queen bed and double bed & it was comfortable and budget friendly. We loved the ambience, beautifully decorated with live plants, we got an aestetic feel. I would highly recommend this place and I would definitely want to come back to this place again. Thank you all the for being a nice host.

It's very nice and homely atmosphere. Hospilaty and cook also good. My family enjoy lots. They managed all short of problems I. e. like a car book, next destination program. Ultimate we enjoyed.

We went there on December 26th, 2023. Stayed 3days. The first thing that is worth mentioning is the helping attitude of both the owners Mr Pratap and Mrs Prerna. There are 60 stairs to climb to get to the rooms and Prerna ji with a big smile took hold my 76yr old mother's hand and accompanied all the way to the room giving two halts in between. Not only this, the next day while we were doing local site seeing my mother choose to remain in the room and once again they took very good care of her by giving timely lunch at room, hot water, tea and snacks and periodic visits to check how she is doing. That made my mom very happy and gave me immense satisfaction. Now about the rooms: they are moderate in size with few furniture and ample sunlight in the morning till afternoon. The Room I stayed required few basic alterations which I have advised them. About the food: food was good, tasty home cooked and always served hot. Utensils were clean. The dining room, table chair are all at satisfactory level. You can actually see the toy train passing by while having lunch. It's a family run homestay of a school teacher, his wife, sister in law and post graduate son. They are all very humble, courteous and always smiling and in helping mode. We really really enjoyed the 3N4D stay there. Will definitely visit there again.

Wonderful stay located at a sweet spot in the hills, very neat and tidy rooms maintained well by the owners. The views are mesmerizing from all corners of the stay and the most prized location of the entire stay is the dining space with it's breathtaking view of the mountain ranges ahead. Mr. Pratap Chetri's (owner) hospitality is praiseworthy and the food made by aunty is delicious. If you all looking for an affordable stay without thinking twice book your stay at Him Vatika. Once staying do try aunty's chicken curry it's very delicious !

Rooms are very spacious and well decorated... The owner is very helpful... He also arranged a rented scooty for sightseeing...The location of the homestay is perfect for me as I want to avoid the Chaos of Mall Market... The Ghum Station and Batasia Loop is under walkable distance... So it's a must try destination for those who loves peaceful stay in Darjeeling..
