Well, this is a good place. But yes it has scope of improvement. Somehow price or cost if I look into it is on the higher side, I should use the word exorbirant. Even the food is costly here. But rooms are clean and big. Yes, you can go for it. If another similar facility comes up in the are they can face challenge.

A very nice place to visit as weekend tour.Lot of other places can be covered from here such as Jaichandi pahar,Panchet dam etc

Beautiful location amidst the hills and forest. Rooms are also good. Nicely decorated the surrounding premises. The have a Watchtower from where you can enjoy the scenic view. Didn't stay there but had our lunch during Garpanchkot trip. Food was okay kind of, not remarkably good. Price of the dishes might be cheaper according to the quantity and quality.

A wonderful place to stay for a day or two. But the food is average in taste. The service was very poor. Atleast our group had to suffer due to insufficient number of staffs and the delayed services.

Good for a 2 day trip. Very good palce. Have Chhau dances often. Busy resturant, swimming available. Many types of rooms, suites and cottages available. Maithon dam nearby.

Nice place to stay in Garpanchkot. This resort is just beside the Panchet hill and run by Govt of west Bengal. Nice place and fully protected. If u want to stay in peace then this resort is the ideal place to stay. Well furnished rooms as well as restaurant. Well maintained garden and lobby became you surprised. From the watch tower you see the wide range of panchet hill as well as full garh.

This is a govt controlled lodge..leased to some professional group to run the place. Accomodation at prime location at garh panchakot. Presently 4 ac rooms have been built but expanding. Rate around 2500 per day. There is a watch tower also. Food is good and staffs courteous. Best way to come is through Adra railway station or from Asansol if you are coming by car. So much green round the place. Rainy season is best time to visit to experience the grandeur of nature dotted by ruins and the renovated temple. Trekking is possible to the hill. Lots and lots of birds are there..wonderful to watch in early morning and evening. Good no of local sightseeing options from this place. Best for weekend getaway.
