The Citi Residenci Hotel

The location is in the heart of Durgapur itself in the city center. The rooms are spacious with all modern facilities. The food were all delicious, they had all the cuisines necessary. The service was upto the mark. The buffet breakfast is also good and is well spread. The hotel has banquets both indoor and outdoor and also a proper bar. The only problem I had was with the Swimming pool as one side had only the bars and no stairs and other side was trembling, If they can fix it then it will be the best, because this is not expected from a high value property.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to inform you that we have booked a room for our guest who has encountered a bed bug problem in the hotel. She communicated this issue to your staff, but we have not seen any action taken by your team in response. We did not expect this level of service from your establishment. I gather your notice to a severe inconvenience in Citi Residency Hotel at Durgapur during my CPX Audit on 17th & 18th March 2025. a) A high severity issue faced on 17th March 2025: Bed bugs in Room no. 308 b) Issue faced on 18th March 2025: Issue of a shabby room ( Room no. 328) - Room had a scary AC , strange noise was coming out of it , shabby furniture plus it was not looking like a delux room for which the amount was paid by ODM. c) Details of incident: 1. I notice 10 bed bugs at a time on my bed late night. 2. I couldn't sleep the whole night due to variety of bed bugs - minute in size & very big standard size bed bugs were biting me. 3. I had complained to the Housekeeping manager on duty early morning, who also noticed n clicked pics of bed bugs which were still in the bed. Request to take further action. Regards Ila Sinha

My sister had her wedding arranged at the hotel. It was located right in fron of Durgapur Junction mall at the crossing. It was fantastic and well maintained. The staff as well the manager were very friendly. We did not have to worry. But the only con was that the live starter counter was open for two hours and by 11:30pm they had almost closed the dinner arrangements, given the price it was the only drawback.

I never thought I'd be writing this after 4 YEARS of being a loyal customer. My girlfriend and I have been regularly booking City Residency, Durgapur--sometimes monthly, sometimes multiple times a month--for the last four years. But our recent experience was nothing short of disrespectful, inhuman, and deeply insulting. A normal private argument (something that happens in any relationship) took place in our room--we did no damage to anything. Within minutes, hotel staff and the manager barged into our room door and demanding we check out immediately or they'd involve the police. No empathy, no attempt to de-escalate, just plain hostility. We were humiliated. No refund was offered. No reasoning was listened to. We were forcefully checked out like criminals. The manager even said we'd be blocked from ever booking again. Newsflash: we wouldn't dare book this place again even if it was the last option. This treatment was a shameful betrayal of trust. For a hotel that's taken our business for years, this is how they repay regular, respectful customers? If you're considering City Residency, think twice. If this can happen to loyal customers, it can happen to anyone. To the management: You lost more than just a customer--you lost your credibility.

A very nice hotel, conveniently located in city centre at Durgapur with all the amenities like swimming pool, gym, spa etc. The room is spacious, clean and most important point for me , the toilet is clean, without smell and moderately spacious. The complimentary breakfast spread is also ample. The stuffs are nice and cooperative

Worst experience. Stayed here for 4 nights in oct 2024.||1) We stayed here for a company program and some of us came early and our company paid for the same. But they were not sure whether to serve us dinner or not for that day. Very embarrassing.||2) they mix up vegetarian and non vegetarian items in the dining hall and do not name them properly making it very difficult for vegetarians to eat.||3) After breakfast on 25.10.2024, my colleagues and I sat leisurely in the lobby and a hotel front desk staff asked me to behave with ETIQUETTES and sit properly. It may be their hotel policy not to sit in the lobby but they could have told me politely. Humiliation. They were not trained properly to be in front desk. Very rude staff. The hotel management should train their staff properly and recruit only those persons having some decency.||4) Bathroom and toilets were not cleaned properly.||5)There are a number of hotels in the same location. so there is nothing special about this hotel.||6) There are five floors and there is no lift access to the top floor.

I usually don't write reviews, but after experiencing one of the worst hotel stays, I felt compelled to share my experience at Citi Residenci Hotel in Durgapur. Having stayed in both budget and luxury hotels, this was by far the worst hotel I have ever encountered.||The reasons are as follows:| 1. Loud Music at Night - On all three nights of my stay, loud music played late into the night, making it extremely difficult to sleep. The noise was clearly audible in the rooms, ruining any chance of rest.| 2. Unhygienic Lift - One morning, I found the elevator floor covered in plastic, seemingly to hide vomit. This was highly unprofessional and unsanitary.| 3. Dirty Linen & Poor Food Quality - The bed linen was visibly dirty, which was unacceptable. Additionally, the food quality did not match the high prices they charged.| 4. Dishonest Billing Practices - The hotel staff lacked integrity when it came to billing, which only worsened the overall experience.||If you are traveling to Durgapur, avoid this hotel at all costs and explore better alternatives in the area.

The City Residency Hotel is one of the premier Hotel & Restaurants in Durgapur. Every service provided here is top notch be it the rooms, banquet hall, food and other services. The pricing is also not too high. All the culinary types available here is absolutely too good. The dishes specially the Indian and South Asian cuisines are delicious. The rooms are well maintained and filled with all the modern amenities of a three star hotel. Rating
