Rooms were good and its a huge complex but the maintenance has dropped over the years. Ideal for a wedding/banquet function Location is a little off track so you should have your own vehicle

Spacious location. 5 star experience. Located on the outer side. Only 15 minutes from Durgapur railway station. Village theme makes one feel of the village. Swimming pool also available but the water is not clean. Party space available in the lawn as well as on the terrace.

Nice Resort. The Resort Is Closed And Opened After 8 Years. The Staffs Are Excellent And Helpful. Ambience And Room Quality Is Excellent. The Hotel Garden Is Beautiful. Food Is Also Excellent Online Booking Facility Will Comming Soon. One Swimming Poll Is Also There

Riviera is back in Durgapur as 'The Damodar Retreat'. So a weekend trip to the property was drawn up and it was worth the visit in every sense.||TDR as its fondly called now boasts now of vast expanse of greenery all around the rooms. The first impression that one has as the gates open up is that this resort is nestled in the greens!! The landscaped gardens and the 'home grown veggies' plot provide that much needed 'soothing view'.||Having driven nonstop for 3 hours, we were pretty much hungry and the polite staff at TDR promptly advised us to check in for a tasty dinner.||I am generally apprehensive about eating mutton outside my home turf but the staff's assurance at TDR was proven hands-down when the succulent meat dishes arrived piping hot and matched our expectations!||The rooms are big and the washrooms even bigger. Infact there's enough space inside the washroom to add a bed or two. Probably because this is a heritage property (it goes back as early as the 60s and is WBTDC's first resort in Bengal) that the rooms and the washrooms are so generous in their dimensions.||The food quality and service is quite good and we hope to taste those dishes which we missed out in this visit.||Its only a 2 hour drive from Mukutmanipur and a 1 hour drive to Bankura-Bishnupur and thats the reason we saw cars full of holiday goers drop by for a quick rest and food.||For the urbanised Kolkatans and especially for the children who crave for open spaces, this resort provides ample oppurtunity to indulge in outdoor activities. ||We heard that the pool will be functional in a month's time, which will be great for the coming summer.||My best part about the stay at TDR was waking up to the call of birds and nothing else, not a single sound of any machine or engine!! That was priceless....||Will I come back again? For sure and next time I will bring my kid and their friends and family too...they will love feeding the rabbits and seeing how vegetables are grown.||TDR to me was an eclectic mix of modern day resort set amidst rural environment!!

It's in Durgapur Nice place for team meeting foodinng lodging green views nice ground swimming pool lonely place near burning ghat ,But there's is a problem of payment from credit card.From durgapur stn take auto reserve Rs.150 to hotel.

Whenever we cross durgapur we make sure we have one time meal there.mr.Arup as well as Reju both served us very well.stay are all good and polite and the food is really good.
