Hotel Luxor

Worst and most pathetic experience I had yesterday when I visited this restaurant. First of all the manager of this hotel should teach some basic manners to his staff so that the customers can expect basic hospitality. Staff's behaviour is very rude. They are not able to handle large amounts of people at once. Create chaos in many instances. I have ordered mixed fried rice and chicken hot and garlic. One for take away and other one for serve on the table. But God knows why they provide 2 parcels, with a very small quantity (like a half plate)of mixed fried rice. And the quality and taste of the food is really terrible. Overall a very bad experience we had. I suggest everyone that never ever try their food.

1. Food - Normally food quality is good , I specially liked there chicken tikka masala and fish fingers. Quantity is also good for a group of friends or family. Enough to share from. Also you have options for drinks too. 2. Price - Well I admit the price of foods and drinks here is a bit expensive but for food quantity is also good. 3. Service - Now this is what am not so sure about. Their service are not so of a professional. Fir example we had to wait and call someone to clear the table and he came and wiped it out with hands and the residues of food dropped down where we were sitting so that was a pretty bad experience. Also they were asking us to hurry for ordering although we just started to look at the menu. I think they require mush more improvement there.

Quality of the food is very good. They take more times to prepare food. This is a bar cum restayrent. Overall good. U may visit here for refreshment in evening.

Very nice restaurant with great ambience. Price of the food is standard. Not very expensive. Drinking is allowed. Specially fish finger dish is outstanding. Its a family restaurant. Location is in the centre of durgapur. Transport availability is good. Smoking is allowed just outside the hall. Parking is plenty. Behavior of staff is very nice.

Family bar cum restaurant is quite cosy and comfortable. Seating arrangement is perfect for family hang out. Food served is quite tasty though overpriced

Hotel Luxor is one of the old hotels in Durgapur, City Centre area. Under pocket friendly budget, they are providing the best facilities (Complementary Breakfast, Newspaper, Hot water etc). The hotel premises are well decorated and maintained. Here the staffs are also friendly and extending prompt responses. They are providing extremely good service however the rooms need to be renovated.
